Does anybody facing the same problem like me? When bluetooth is enabled and the phone turns off because batterij is empty it refuses to enable bluetooth when charged and power up. Afaik the only option for me is to delete data.img and start from scratch again. But there must be another workaround for this problem or am i'm wrong?

BT doesn't route audio correctly yet, so it's kind of a moot point. I would wait until it's more stable in general before mucking with BT. IMHO!

Any update on a gingerbread release? Seems like they keep updating Froyo build (now to FRX 7.1) but no word on gingerbread release.

Gingerbread should be the main focus since that has a lot more features than Froyo.

No home button mapped on my Raph100

I have been searching a few hours now for a solution for a very annoying problem. I got Android running on my Raph100, but there is no home button and I cannot close any programs, which makes android pretty useless.

I tried to update about everything (rootfs, startup and more), but Im 100% not sure I succeeded in finding all correct versions. The auto-update tool from the start post can not find the server... Anyone has a clue?

The program is great by the way!

There is no button to close programs in Android, that's not how Android works. Android manages memory itself, and decides when is best to close apps or keep them in memory. The "home" button should work as home, and it will always bring you back to the desktop.

Gingerbread should be the main focus since that has a lot more features than Froyo.

Gingerbread isn't as stable and has a serious BT blocker on TI chipsets (as in RAPH/DIAM/BLAC/TOPA) that is going to be a serious issue for the next GB release...

I heard the newest kernel doesn't play nice with DIAM's. No one has said why, but try kernel 20110809. I've heard it works better - but I would like to know why the newest kernels aren't playing nicely with DIAM's.

Oh, I was not clear enough in my question. My phone (Raph100) has no home button on it! None of the buttons functions as the home button. Is there a way to make one button the home button (remap)? Am I using the wrong file?

Uh... Look at this picture: RAPH100 - I know the URL says TP2, but it's lying. That picture is a RAPH. I want to say it's a 100, but it's definitely a RAPH - see the home button? Top left on the capacitive panel. You don't have this button...? I'd say you don't have a RAPH100 then. Please check under the battery per the FAQ to see which device you have...

Thanks, that is my phone indeed. Guess my capatative button is broken then.

Well the capacitive buttons don't always work so well (in Android). So here's a little (annoying) trick I would use when I used my RAPH full time - start from the inside of the button (near the ring) and move your finger outwards toward the edge of the button - don't actually press the button down, just touch your finger and slide it. The button *should* light up when you do this. Assuming it does, then press the button. That's the "trick" I found works well. Do not press the button until you see it light up first.

IIRC sometimes that panel would "die" on me in Android and no matter what it wouldn't recognize button presses. A reboot was the only fix. This was rare, and seemed to only occur after extended periods of uptime (like several days).

    XDANDROID 2.2.2 AOSP

Welcome to the official XDANDROID AOSP thread which is dedicated to getting Android running on our beloved HTC devices.
Phhusson: has dedicated most of his time helping users and updating kernel to run Eclair and his work for other msm7k devices. However phhusson is not alone as there are also other members working on this. You can find some of them on http://www.htc-linux.org. I've listed some of the developers i know of that currently are working on and they deserve credits and thanks. We also have to note that before this work done there was quite a substantial number of people starting working on linux for our devices. Without them we may not be where we are today. So respect and credits to everyone involved in working on linux kernel for msm devices.
I am not responsible for any damages or problems your device encounters. The build is relatively safe and shouldn't cause any problems.

    22.11.10 | 2.2.1 builds

    • Arrrghhh has built a up-to-date package for people who dont want to download everything. Grab it here: Arrrghhh 2.2.1 update package

Note: You'll need a new data.img as this package is signed. Otherwise you'll get a bootloop :p
Also you'll need to select English IME if you want to type in english.

    OTA update

    24.01.11

    • No OTA update for FRX05

    • The recommended method is the OTA update.zip. However, for users who don't have a completely original FRX02 to upgrade from, the system.ext2 file will be necessary.

OTA Update procedure (ONLY for users with the original, unmodified signed FRX02 system image)
    • Download update-FRX03.zip to SD card in the same directory as startup.txt and haret, etc
    • Rename update-FRX03.zip to update.zip
    • Boot haret, watch the updater go
    • After updater finishes, it may either reboot or "freeze" (reboot not implemented on device), reboot manually if it freezes
    • Boot haret again, and the new system will start up

Old builds can be located here
Here is a repositories for older releases of XDANDROID and Android1.6 donut files
