well I'll just wait for final release. I waited so long and I can wait a bit longer.
Btw, jb will have 3.0 or 3.4 kernel in final release?
It should be 3.4 kernel as this leaked rom has 3.4.
So what the 3.4 Kernel had to offer?

he's recognized for sony and they give him software releases to test and develop.. that's how he gets them

Just flashed and its good...like the whole step up...and icons...
its kernel.3.4
its smooth
camera look is AWESOME
it has power management in setting (NO STAMINA MODE)
those are a few things i noted...
about battery well cant say much...only been 30 mins...but will play around and give feedback...

Wow ,I'm amazed. DooM you are the best... flashed this FW on my XS. Trying it for 15 minutes and everything works just perfect. Phone is super smooth now ,very fast. Didn't noticed yet any bugs! Thank you man ,I'm so happy!!!

and i highly doubt that sony is dumb enough to miss such a big leak from its developers, and if it wasn't confirmed by sony the thread would have been closed by now!
anyway stolen or given, a big thanks goes to him.. at least we have jb before sony's ****ty plans!

I have told this multiple times... Users at XDA and other forums send me these firmwares....
i am getting status 7 error while flashing in cwm....already verified that i have downloaded the complete package..also tried changing kernel from xperia s speed to arakamar but with same outcome..ant help??

so finally we have a version which works almost perfect!
i present to you leaked Sony JellyBean Firmware 6.2.B.0.197 for the Xperia S (LT26i)... this will also work on the Xperia SL (LT26ii)...
this firmware was ment for developer (brown) devices but i was able to get it to boot on production devices...
[ NOTICE ]
since this is an internal testing firmware, do not expect to see the same features on the official final release... some things could be added while others removed...

[ requirements ]
- unlocked bootloader
- previously on stock .55 ICS ROM or roms based on that [since some components of THIS rom contain files from those firmwares]
- supplied ROM
- any existing kernel with recovery or just extract the boot.img (contains inbuilt recovery) from the ROM i have uploaded and flash it using fastboot
[ how to install ]
- download the ROM and save it on SDCARD
- reboot device into recovery (make sure that the /system partition is unmounted, i have noticed that in some kernels the /system partition remains mounted)
- flash the ROMs update.zip (this will take some time)
- thats it now reboot device
- at first boot device will reboot once after bootanimation thats expected
- next boot will take a long time!!!
- it might happen that in after some reboots u get a "flashing firmware screen" thats ok.. let it complete... DO NOT DISTURB WHILE THAT PROCESS IS GOING ON!!!
- after a few reboots the ROM should stabilize!
- enjoy!
If you are getting Status 7 Error while flashing in recovery just extract the boot.img (contains inbuilt recovery) from the ROM i have uploaded and flash it using fastboot then enter ROM and flash it through recovery
