I flashed this and now my N7 is in a boot loop. I can get into recovery but it asks for a password every time. I didn't encrypt my filesystem... but I can't wipe anything.
EDIT: Hmm... I formatted data, typed "yes" and it ran the makefs_ext4 command or whatever it is, then I rebooted to recovery and it didn't ask me for a password. I flashed the 1.43 SuperSU zip, hopefully it boots...
If you unlocked then installed recovery without letting it boot once normally this can happen because it never finished the data wipe after you unlocked. Wipe, format data should fix it.
Had the same problem, but when I tried to wipe data, it just failed. So I still have a bricked device. Any suggestions?
Also, I didn't have the option to type "yes" like yokken had so I'm not sure if thats a factor?
Can't erase with fastboot either.
I cant get my computer to recognize this as an ADB device.. where did you guys find the drivers?
1) Install the Android SDK.
2) Ensure the Nexus 7 has adb debugging enabled in settings
3) Hook the Nexus 7 up to your PC
4) Open device manager and find the nexus 7
5) Uninstall any current drivers
6) Now select update driver and do the manual selection.
7) Select the Google USB driver in the SDK directory (sdk\extras\google\usb_driver)
Soooo all we have to do for root is flash superSU zip? Is this after installing recovery I'm confused?

Does anyone have a factory image file with the correct naming available? I need to flash the system back to my device and can't find it anywhere.
