@HootanParsa, to have answered so quickly to my request, by adding .eml support to the html viewer. It is the second time he brings a new feature that I wished to get (last time was about the GPS atom of videos), so many thanks.
I have tested the latest beta, and I could display the mail content, but there are some issues with the header: the date field is ignored, and the recipient is blank. Line breaks are not taken into account, also.
The charset is correctly detected, I did not need to set it.
I have not tried with a more complicated mail, with formatting and embedded pictures, yet.
So, allow me to thank again all people who contributed to this improvement of Mixplorer, and obviously, among all, @HootanParsa.

You are welcome. He will improve it since he asked for eml file to test. He his aware that it needs more tuning so follow the next builds and give your feedback about this new feature. Thank you

If it can help, several .eml files of mere text messages cannot be opened by the new html viewer, and the relevant part of the log says:
D/ContentViewerActivity> Extension: eml, MimeType: message/rfc822
E/ContentViewerActivity> Attempt to invoke virtual method 'int java.lang.String.length()' on a null object reference

Fwiw.

OT, I know but thanks for hinting "FairEmail". Never been happy with K9...

Last week I installed the latest Mix codecs MiXCodecs_B1906154.

On todays beta, v6.38.0_B19062010, videos play fine in HW mode, but if I switch to SW renderer, it states to please install the latest Mix Codecs. Is there a newer version somewhere? In the changelog I see: Updated VLC addon. I tried removing the one I have installed and get the same result. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the 1.1 version on the Play Store? I tried that and get the same message. Log attached. The HW render works fine for me, but I think there are others who can only use the SW render and that is why I posted.

Thanks

I'm on the latest MiX Silver (6.37.0) and noticed now that some filetypes suddenly have much more info in the detailed view than they had before. I can't seem to get rid of all that stuff and if I pick one of the other views that show less info then things like date (which I want) are gone too.

The resolution of images I could live with lol, but for example the music titles or "Theme names" are things I'd rather not see since they're moot, they're already in the filename anyway
(And don't judge me for my taste in music, I'm old )

Is there still a way to get the detailed view without the new additional infos?

You have two options. Save file to the temporary folder or send a direct link. If your app doesn't support Direct link, then select 'Save to temp'.

I apologise if I don't get your objective to be achieved correctly. Isn't it the feature to change the view style (bottom row, 2nd icon from the left)? Please refer to screenshots.
