What is this?

Pixel Experience is an AOSP/CAF/GO based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation)

Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security, along with essential features for the proper functioning of the device

Overnight drain about 18% , nothing changed expect ambient display was turned on. Any battery tips ,had really good battery on the first day but seem like it's going down, all apps greenified . Using enabled battery optimisation for gms too battery saver always on

Turn off ambient display to save battery overall. I also found out a while back that sometimes ambient display doesn't turn off, I'm not sure what causes it but it's like ambient display starts acting like an always on display and that burns our battery since the whole screen have to light up on kenzo. That's most likely what have happened.

I'm not using this rom but the ambient display bug seems to happen on most roms. :good:

I don't think it's a bug on most roms. There's an option in ambient display setting, the option is "Always on", you might want to turn that off

Yes I know about that option, that exist in some roms. I've been using arrow for a while now so I can't comment on the latest updates of every rom but from my experience ambient display setting seemed bugged more often than not. For example it could go pulsing when a notification appeared for several minutes. It might be fixed now I'm not sure. I don't have that bug on arrow anyway.

It might have been that bug that caused that guys phone to drain 18% over night. I just thought that I should share my experience and hopefully it'll help someone else.

"So I will never add or remove any feature for any reason." okay i agree ancek is just really a much needed little plugin.
A really plain and clean rom but troubled screen shutdown with the 3rd part application and the screen dialing with finger touching because of the search app below.
The main screen should be able to remove without asking google search / siri option at the bottom and the home screen must be double click close.
on the contacts of person search a little slow. Please add.

1. NO FEATURE REQUEST: I have strictly followed official way of building Pixel Experience os for kenzo and have not touched anything after that. I strongly prefer PURE PIXEL EXPERIENCE. So I will never add or remove any feature for any reason.

2. UPDATE CYCLE: I will update once a month (will update only when monthly security patch updated in PE repo)

3. MAINTENANCE TIME: I use this ROM as my daily driver in my Kenzo. So until my phone dies out I will continue building this ROM.

4. BUG FIXING: As I am new to custom ROM building, I can fix bugs present in my device only. However if bugs are very common I will try to fix them.

PREREQUISITES:
1. Officially unlocked bootloader.
2. Latest TWRP (3.2.3.0) installed.

FLASHING PROCEDURE:
1. Reboot to recovery
2. PERFORM FACTORY RESET
3. Wipe Cache, System, Dalvik
5. Flash ROM
6. Reboot system.

UPDATE PROCEDURE :
(ONLY IF YOU HAVE THIS ROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS FLASHED)
1. Reboot to Recovery (Dont wipe dalvik and cache as it will lock data)
2. Flash ROM
3. Flash Agni Kernel v13.8 Pie version (Optional)
4. Reboot

IMPORTANT TIPS:
1. To increase Battery Life: Install Greenify and kepp battery saver of ROM ALWAYS ON. SOT (Moderate usage): 6-7 hours
2. To make Google Pay (or any payment app) to work: Go to settings --> Apps --> Disable Action Services --> Go to Google Play Services --> Disable SMS and Phone. Now Google Pay will work. Do your work and Enable everything afterwards.

Yes Greenify is working super fine...I am using it... But to get best out of app flash Magisk module provided by me in my first post... No need to use Magisk for flashing this module... NO DON'T TRY SELINUX ENFORCING OTHERWISE PHONE MAY ENTER IN BOOT LOOP!!!

Though I am not able to complete understand what you want to say but looks like you want some features to be added in Android pixel launcher... WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE... YOU CAN USE THIRD PARTY LAUNCHER LIKE ROOTLESS LAUNCHER... Edit whatever you want in that launcher (excellent launcher).. Regarding slow search in contacts I personally tested it and it's fine here..

No ambient display problem here... Also overnight drain with 4G data always on in my phone is 4-5%.. Which can reduce to 2-3% if I switch off mobile data... You might have this problem because battery is not properly calibrated... Let phone discharge completely and charge phone upto 100% in switched off condition.. Than discharge it again till it switched off itself... Than charge to 100% in switched off condition again and now battery is properly calibrated.. If problem still persist than most probably battery has reached its end of life (EOL)..
