How to do it the hard way? can anyone teach? Coz i flash it in CWM. But sometimes ringtones gets soft,. sometimes it's really loud & clear? & always after a notification ringtone, when i type, the touch sound is very soft... Maybe i think it's got something to do with the way i install Beats Audio whch makes it unstable?
It's cool, I'm just saying that kinda stuff is best handled privately. I understand where you're coming from with your argument, but at the end of the day we're all a community that should be supportive of each other's work. Even so, arguing about it openly is only going to attract negative attention.
Btw the mod worked great for me on my LG myTouch 4G running CM7, thank you

It's not going anywhere... Ok i unzip the latest Beats Audio zip files, then there r 2 files inside namely system & META-INF, go into system file inside there r 3 more files lib, etc & bin. Then in META-INF file inside there r some more files... So which 1 ? Sorry i really dunno... & which file need to set permission? Then set permissiom to rw,r,r? or wat???
You need to unzip folders and files that are into system zip folder on root folder of your phone.
Forgot Meta-inf folder.
I wonder if it works for T-Mobile gs2 with Darksidev8 ROM ??

Unzip the BeatsAudio0731.zip files & extract the system folder & META-INF folder & place it in /system folder, then reboot into recovery, go advance to set permission. Is dat correct?
Or i have to extract the system folder & META-INF folder another level then place all the folders inside the the system & META-INF folder into /system folder?

1.download zip
2.unzip using root explorer
3.multi select files
4.go into system and paste were they exp system/bin-system/etc-system/libs
5.reboot phone fix permission in recovery

Audio is something special.
When you say there is an improvement, people tend to listen closer and perceive something different even if it doesn't exist.
That's called placebo.
All I'm asking is intellectual honesty in order to not abuse of this many times proven fact.
I also think placebo-mods are affecting negatively everyone's work and also the confidence XDA users have in developers.
The solution is simple: It improves audio? That can be measured then!
If you can't measure it, it means it does nothing.
Me, I measured, Galaxy S II. found it wasn't working. It's not an opinion or a critic. It's a fact.16
Tested, with a precise and valid methodology I use in my work and reviews
All it does is strictly no change in audio output.
If you claiming you're improving sound quality while implicitly asking for donations (aka [Donate to me] button) I strongly suggest you to bring some elements supporting your assumptions.
I might add that by distributing random files and libs you're violating several manufacturers copyrights and intellectual property.
