I didn't post them before as i didnt think it would be fair promoting other peoples KK kernels in a JB kernel thread when they are a few clicks away to find. But since you didn't look in the other section, it took me about 30 seconds just changing to the note 3 development section and copying the links, you're welcome. :)
(There are more custom kernels too, these are just the more useful ones that i've used)

Actually.. I did the same thing right after my post and saw the were a few, but Thank you for the links. I'm on the Sprint Note3 and forgot I was in the international threads, my apologies.

This kernel worked for the Sprint Note3 while running jellybean. I'm now on KitKat and was looking for a compatible custom kernel for it until one is compiled for Sprint. Thank you for your time.

I'm using Lean with Alliance ROM (and Philz) - I don't want to go to KK until the issues are sorted as I am not a fan of jumping off a cliff - you can't come back from KK so I will wait until I know it ain't a deadly leap... :D

Lean and Alliance gives me a 35,600 score on Antutu which is the best I have had across a few combinations of ROM and kernel - and I get great battery. I'm getting, at my most usage, about 1% per hour. Normal use is about 12% in 15 hours or so. Light use the other day was about 1 day 10 hours for 23%.

Can't argue with the figures - I am not the most phone-hungry person around but I figure a 4 - 5 day battery on light use along with high performance (35,600 is above the Antutu score for Note 3's) is great phone - I tried Faux kernel with Alliance and Antutu was around 27,000 I think, and battery seemed to be about the same.

Lean Rulz...

I really like the kernel, however having FC with camera app as stated before. Is there any fix for it or a version of kernel which doesn't brake it?
Or perhaps can I troubleshoot it somehow?
Please advice

Almost done with Touchwiz Kitkat kernel. Some test builds here: http://androtransfer.com/?developer=imoseyon&folder=hlte/test

Just flashed " lk_hlteeur-kk-v2.0rc1.zip" on my n9005 running X-Note v12. Working good so far will report back with my findings.

2.0.2... Had 3 freezes then reboot using ondemand today. No UV. OC to 2.5 (always been stable on default voltages for me). Changed to interactive and no reboots now. Was rebooting when texting using SwiftKey on hangouts.

leanKernel is not for everyone. My philosophy is to keep the kernel footprint as small as possible by trimming as much fat as possible, and at the same time keeping it stable, power efficient, and fast. You will find that it's lacking some of the bells and whistles of other custom kernels, so if you like features you came to the wrong thread. :)

The "warranty bit" message at boot is normal.

    v2.5 is up: https://github.com/imoseyon/leanKernel-note3/wiki/Kitkat-ChangeLog

    Just a maintenance release.

At this point the kernel is pretty mature, IMO. Usually at this point I move onto another device and start active development there (while maintaining older devices) but I've been so happy with my Note 3 I'm not buying another device for the foreseeable future.

    ----

Those of you having reboot issues on v2.4.1 go back to v2.3 and see if the reboots go away? The last_kmsg that was attached above seems to indicate that the reboot is not kernel induced but that doesn't always mean that kernel is not at fault.

    v3.5 is up: https://github.com/imoseyon/leanKernel-note3/wiki/Kitkat-ChangeLog

Doesn't have NG2 update incorporated yet. I'll be testing those changes soon.
