Since this Rom is touchwiz based, any chance of getting mhl to work?
Or is that kernel-controlled?

Tried v1 and v2, both encountered "server error" with Play store. Tried many times, factory reset, wipe dalvik, and cache. Tried using TB to remove play store, reinstalled gapps from different sources, and gave up. Back to my nandroid of unofficial 14 SEP release.

Try this method:-

1. wipe cache/dalvik
2. mounts and storage- format system
3. factory reset- (yes you will lose you data so make sure you have a recent backup)
4. install the rom and reboot...

Dear Zard, you will be loosing your applicatons, contacts, call logs, google account, settings. etc., (Basically it will be like when you first bought the phone -with this MIUI ROM)

But my suggestion is before factory resetting, you can use backup utility provided by MIUI to backup System (data) which includes :

Browser

File Explorer

Gallery

Network Assistant

Permission Manager

Contacts

Call log

Messages

Multimedia Messages

System Settings (backup phone and messaging settings

Wifi settings, etc., etc.,

You can also backup applications so as it will avoid downloading latest applications again....

I further suggest after flashing the ROM (after full wipe), you just sign into your gmail account and log on to market. ( To isolate the issues). Once ensuring play store is working all right, you restore your backup with MIUI backup utility which brings your phone back to same status as now.

Hope things will workout for you as this is too good a ROM to leave.....

Use Titanium Backup from Play Store and backup all your current apps. After flashing MIUI ROM restored back all the apps via Titanium Backup ask well.

Work fine with Hydracore 4.3 kernel

I had flashed Hydracore 4.3 OC kernel on Rocket MIUI v2, it work fine and reduce alot baterry consumption by adjust CPU speed 100 ~ 1600 with intelligent mode. Everything 's ok and longer baterry life. I had flash only kernel after Rocket v2 working stablity on my Note

Here under performance Menu select "CPU Sliders" and slide the required values. You can also set the required Governor here.....
