use winrar but dont extract go in and delete update-script, and update-binary it will make you one that works.

recommend it anyways because it unclutters your scripts

Have tried from inside the kitchen and after the rom is created...still error 6 any ideas? thanks in advance...I know I'm getting close anyway

EDIT: Ok, I finally decided to start with the original zip file for the rom, simply opened it and deleted both the updateR-script and binary-script, closed then added to original_update folder and started kitchen with files missing...hope that helps anyone like me that spent 2 days thinking I was doing something all wrong...kitchen will tell you that script isn't found and will create both as Cobra stated...thanks again !

Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy SII
Hi,

Can we use same kitchen for other phones like Samsung Galaxy SII and is it specific to HTC. if It is specific then do we have another tutorial for Samsung Galaxy SII custom ROM development from scratch.

Regards

I ran the cygwin installer, and after running it 3 hours, it JUST came to 1%. I cancelled the install. Any ideas?

When I extract I get setup (config file) but when I open it I get a notepad file that's pretty useless. Is this what I'm supposed to do? o.0

Very nice tutorial! I will read this over and over again and learn so much from this. This is a great starting point. I will see what I can create with this. When I create my own custom roms, I will definitely give you some credit for them. Thank you!
