Doesn´t work the PLAY function in HTC Touch Pro 2 CDMA (Energy ROM and CorePlayer), nor with 3g, nor with wifi (moths ago it worked flawlessly). Only I can save, but not play/preview the videos (When Coreplayer opens and try to stream, the phone freezes always), the same after Hard reset...
thanks

With all respects this is the Windows Mobile Apps and Games. Please post all iPhone and Android info on their appropriate forums.

Anyone want to try out a preliminary version of mVu Mobile Viewer that works on newer smartphones (such as iPhone and android)?

Check out http://mvu-mobile-viewer.appspot.com from your smartphone. (It will also work from IE or Chrome, but that's not the point of this).

Remember this is a very early version that is not fully functional and does not have all of the same abilities as mVu Mobile Viewer Windows Mobile App. There is no playlist functionality, and only a few sites are implemented. If you want to download videos (at least on iPhone) you'll have to use a Download Manager app. Not sure about android.

I have used this successfully on an iPod Touch. It should work on iPhones. I expect it will work on android, but I have not tested that as I do not have an android device. It should also work on Windows Phone 7, but I haven't tested that either. It does not work properly on older Windows Mobile devices.

Note, not all video formats are supported on iPhone/iPod Touch. Not sure what formats work on android.

You can use the Add to Home Page feature on iPhone/iPod Touch to add an mVu icon to this as a fullscreen web app.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks for the reply bik2000,

The application installs fine using the uncompressed CAB but when I open it it says "This application (mVu.exe) requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device."

When I download the NETCFv35.Messages.EN.wm.cab it says its not a valid Windows CE setup file. So thats why I can't get it to work. Please can you help me?

I'm using a HP Ipaq hx2000 Intel PXA270 running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.

    Thanks

You need to install .NET Compact 3.5 Redistributable before you install the Messages cab you mentioned above.

You can get it from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385&displaylang=en

    New Version - mVu - 1.0.10.9

I have just posted a new version (1.0.10.9).

This version has the following changes:
    • Fixed Pornhub
    • Removed Tnaflix

Tube8 seems to be working again without any changes. I removed Tnaflix because the site now requires login to download videos.

You can download the latest version at http://bik2000.appspot.com.

    New mVu Website

In preparation of the next release of mVu, I've also created a new website for mVu.

You can find the new site at http://bik2000.appspot.com.

I've already got some screenshots of the updated UI layout on there, as well as a list of some of the new features that you can expect in the next version.
