And as @Phil3759 said, 'yes, disable stock recovery' should do the trick..

I too had the same issue with flashing CWM and after boot up in android then shut down back into recovery it had reverted back to stock recovery. Root was ok, that sticks.
Tried suggested flashing 184.108.40.206 via Odin then flash 220.127.116.11 zip but it still restored to stock recovery after booting Android. Flash counter now = 7 all for nothing
I even tried the dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 method but that would only give me temp CWM which again restored back to stock recovery after reboot to Android.
I only manage to get it to stop overwritng CWM 18.104.22.168 by deleting this /system/reboot-from-recovery.p
then flashed CWM 22.214.171.124 now the system does not keep writing stock recovery over CWM 126.96.36.199
I think It may be I did not flash a new ROM but just wanted rooted stock + CWM that some of us are getting CWM restored back to stock recovery. The phone is the wife's so had to restrain from too much messing with it, unlike my HTC which is well FOOBAR'ed
