1. Open my attachment with Winrar (battery_theme.mtz)
2. Browse to the \com.android.systemui\res\raw folder
3. On your desktop drag the two files you have inside \com.android.systemui\res\raw in winrar view
- stat_sys_battery_charge.png
- stat_sys_battery_number.png
Compression method in winrar = Store
4. This will overwrite the existing ones
5. Place that battery_theme.mtz in the miui theme folder
6. Use thememanager to look for the battery theme and apply it

sorry bro. computer decided that it didnt like XDA for a few. im back now. if you watch the new video i posted in the op it will show you how to change the file out. its the same for the wifi, data, signal , ect... but those file are located in the systemui.apk/res/drawable-hdpi
anytime bro. well, you can do what i do and pull images that you like out of others roms or photoshop them yourself. the safest bet is to pull them out of another rom though. that way the sizes and name are mostly correct. the images that you are looking for are mostly in the framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi. if you are going to move them to MIUI you have to make sure that you rename the files to the same name that the MIUI files are.
if there's any that you like and dont really understand how to do it yourself you can always get the files to me and i'll pack the ui myself so all you have to do is drop it via root explorer and enjoy the new ui of your phone.

yep. just save it. do you have a copy of your systemui.apk on your computer? you should keep one saved on your desktop just so it makes things like this easier for ya. you open up systemui.apk with 7zip then drop the alarm file in res/drawable-hdpi folder. close 7zip. then put the systemui.apk back on your phone just like in the second video in the OP.

Switching to Mode2b battery...I like that one better...I just used the same systemui.apk. But the battery in res/raw and the alarm in drawable hdpi

The alarm didn't work unfortunately. I have multiple alarms set...does it use a different image for multiple alarm settings??

I got bored so I made some battery mods for MIUI. I added a theme (NEWTASK650 Dark) that i made off of the MIUI Dark Theme that i use along with some screenshots for anyone who likes it and wants to use it. It's a variation of the MIUI Dark Theme. Here's the original theme thread for it http://www.miuiandroid.com/2011/05/miui-com-official-dark-theme-consent-given-to-post/. Just download and check the previews to see more. I plan on trying to make 2 new batt mods a day if my schedule permits it. Make sure you go to Settings/System/Battery Settings/Battery Indicator Style and choose Percentage. Otherwise you will not see the battery.

These will only change the battery icon. NOTHING ELSE.
Download the .zip file you want to use, then extract the .mtz file, then FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
HOW TO APPLY
-Put on SD card
-Open Theme Manager
-Hit Menu soft key button and select Import Theme
-Select the battery theme
-Select EDIT THEME
-Select Notification Bar and then choose the battery that you want to use
-DONE

Battery theming is great, the notification blind icons can be on another level though. It would be great to have a matching battery and toggle icons.
Yeah, most of the APKS have same structure, you'll just have to put a /folder/res/drawable-hdpi or other in the .mtz file with the name of the APK
Examples of APKS to theme are...
com.android.launcher
com.android.mms
com.android.systemui
com.android.phone
com.android.thememanager
etc........
