Hello!

Offtopic sorry bur i cant find the right one.,

My friend have a Blade with official rom. He have a strange problem, if he call his girlfriend he hear can hear his own voice only like an echo, but the other numbers no problem with the voice. sooo strange. He tried replace the rom, do a hard reset but nothing happens. The phone is work correctly from two years ago to nowadays. Any suggestion?

As always, flash at your own risk & do your own research first. If you flash a rom intended for a different device then it is very likely to break your phone. I don't take any responsibility for that & there might not be anything you can do to rescue your phone. Even if it's the same model phone, a rom intended for a different region - especially if either the phone or rom were intended for the chinese market could break it. There is also the Gen1/Gen2/Gen3 issue. If you flash a rom that somehow got corrupted, that's another way to break your phone.

ZTE Racer & ZTE Link share the same model number, but the roms are not compatible, flashing a link rom to a racer or vice versa will probably break it. I'm not sure which are which, check first (use unyaffs on system.img & read build.prop for clues).

In short, don't flash these if you're a n00b. They're intended for rom developers & people wanting to reset their phone to their original stock rom only.

Hello Friend,

Could you please give me some suggestion on how to fix the issue on my ZTE blade? Any idea is fine.

My device is now always boot to CWM after press power on (don't matter i press hold down vol - and power) or any key. The issue is occurred after i tried to upgrade new ROM (CM 7.2-blade or CM9 blade). I suspected that my device might accidentally lost bootloader into ROM (not sure that suspicion is correct or not)

After it boot to CWM, i tried to install CM7 or CM9 ROM. It looks fine during installation until get message " installing successfully". Then, i reboot system. But device doesn't boot Android OS, it always go to CWM everytime.

Anyone has a suggestion on what should i do or missing to install more? Please help me!!

It can happen for a few reasons, usually the result of a bad flash. There used to be a rescue guide at modaco.

And no, I can't get any more ZTE Stock roms, the ones in the first post are all I have.

Thank you wbaw for suggestion. I still don't understand although i install correct ROM. It still automatic boot to CWM (not entry ROM i installed). Do you have any idea? Thanks again.

Anyone know where to get the stock rom for the ZTE AWE? I bricked my phone with the first custom rom I found and can't get it back without a recovery rom (original or something that works).

Just so you know I did 'unbrick' my phone. It was all do to the help of dragongart6505 on Android Forums. He is the gentleman that wrote the AWSOME ROM for the ZTE AWE and he told me step by step how to get it back to the original ROM.

Anyone needing help should follow his conversation with me. That is between JimReid and dragongart6505 on the Android Forum.

i have ZTE v768 t-mobile concord i try to use custom recovery mod after that the phone is turning on and hang on robot but i cannot go to recovery mode and i cannot log to phone !!! i am really stuck , dose any one have flash (ROM) and flash tool please ...

I have a romdump of two versions and a signed update (ripped it from the /cache folder after interrupting the OTA updater):

I have ZTE P752D / Vodafone Smart Chat that freeze on logo. This caused after reading dump via jtag but seems emmc that still alive.
Wipe from recovery not help me, zip update 02c-to-03a failed with error 7.
Romdump backups seems useless without working android or I don't know how to flash it.
Searching stock rom for ZTE P752D / Vodafone Smart Chat.

Hi all need major help.
I have the ZTE Blade L2 on Virgin UK. I rooted it with king root and all was good until I made a back up then reset it via factory reset. It went in to a boot loop. I then got in to the custom recovery (clavir recovery), went to restore but got MD5 mismatch .
I've tried to side load a rom but got an error. I don't know if I had the right rom or if I was using the right firmware.
Can anybody help me please.
I need links to the right rom and a step by step tut. I am desperate so any help would be very much appreciated !!!

Can Anyone help me? I've been advised to check ZTE website for stock ROM but not sure where it is plus, finding the right ROM is only half my issue.
The custom Recovery I'm using isn't the best. Clavir Recovery it is, The ROM I did find then tried to sideload kept on failing.
All the support I can find for this device, is in Spanish. Please, there must be someone with the correct help as I have found posts asking the same help but they have either not found the right help or they just never posted the resolution.
Any help whatsoever would be great. Thanks
