Hahaha....just had same issue with swift key not able to work...only ROM that doesn't load up on...oh well...stock keyboard almost as good and it will have to do....other than that...great ROM!!!!

It's definitely ROM related. If I don't reboot at least once every day or two, all my presses become long presses. Making panning pictures, swiping between chrome tabs, and tons of other **** useless. I also get really bad screen flickering, beyond just the brightness being borked, it's like static and artifacts that cover the screen until I reboot. This ROM isn't daily driver material yet, there's quite a bit behind the scenes that's not yet finished. Awesome job, though.
Forgot to add, this is all with the included kernel and no OC, I just flashed it, restored my apps, and started using it.

Never had any of the issues you spoke of, and I was running it since release up until a day ago to try out AOKP. Perhaps you should take a peek at some custom kernels and browse the thread for any fixes if others are sharing similar experiences.

It's definitely ROM related because I'm seeing the exact same symptoms on my phone that others are - Google Voice (and YouMail) play messages out of the speakerphone no matter what I have the settings set to (scared the crap out of me the first time it happened too lol), presses become long presses and the screen flicker starts getting pretty bad if I haven't rebooted recently, etc.
Not sure what to say if others aren't seeing these same things, but I can assure everyone that it's definitely not anything I've done to make it happen. I've been flashing ROM's to android devices for as long as custom ROM's have been in existence, and I've probably flashed my S3 with just about every ROM that users have posted on XDA. And this is the only one I've had these specific problems with...
Other than these minor inconveniences though, the ROM runs pretty great so don't take what I said above as a complaint because that's not what it's meant to be portrayed as. I'm simply letting people know that I'm seeing the same things so that the developer is aware!

I'm seeing similar type things with SlimRom as well. Especially the Google Voice thing. I haven't seen the screen flicker on this build yet though.

I have seen any screen flickering on this..... Just flashed the newest kt747 kernel and still working fine... Usually with the kt747 I got the screen flashing but with the newest build no flashing to report....

i had that problem. it charges extremely slow too. I needed to pull the battery, then plug in the power, then wait for a few seconds, then add the battery back, then wait for the charging screen again and then boot up.

same problem, that and the nfc profiles bug are the only bugs i've noticed.

Both nightly and release builds are available. Please note that nightlies are for development purposes. This means that they may not work properly, may not flash, may not build for days at a time, and will probably eat your cat. We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.

9best thing you guys can do is use an alternative kernel for now. i recommend leankernel.
that said, we're working on another build that should resolve the issues us d2 folks are experiencing. to be honest we usually start working on the next build as the one we're releasing is still building.9

If you build a Linaro kernel or ROM then YOU say FULL Linaro code/No patches!

Same to you Masaidjet. I am only going to say this once so everyone can see....XDA does not care if a ROM claims to simonize your car while you drive! It is not violating any forum rules. The users decide whether a ROM is good or not or live up to it's claims. The OP states Linaro optimizations...not fully built on Linaro. I left in the post as absurd as it was to make an accusation without even verifying. That is against the respect rule. ROMs are advertised as "flawless"yet users find bugs...should we lock those threads? Can anyone prove there are no Linaro tweaks in this at all? What I am saying is keep this bickering out of the development threads and let users report issues and get the help they need. Go to PMs, gtalk, Google +, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Joe Flacco's mom's bedroom....I don't care. Just keep it out of here. I have seen this in every Linaro titled thread and it ends here!
