I'm sure that revolutionary is working on S-OFF and koush/max on a revovery.img
@jotha
What about you? Have you got fed up with your GN to join HTC again?
@mike
Looking forward to flash your ROM. No doubt that it will be gorgeous like the Sensation ROMs!

This may sound weird, but I am having a hard time visualizing how to install this ROM on the One X. As far as I know, the One X will not have a real physical micro SD card, but instead will have an SD partition inside. If I cannot boot up the android OS, is there any way I can get access to this partition? Will it be accessible through CWM recovery or 4EXT Touch Recovery?
Yes of course. It's a mounted area of internal memory. Same is on Galaxy Nexus. Works perfectly. Only thing that has to be considered is that wiping scripts or wipe in recovery must leave that "virtual" drive in peace, which is pretty tricky for the programmer.
Thanks for your answer, but I have a few points that I am not very sure:
1. If the One X has a separate SD partition, does that mean it will have Mass Storage functionality (something the Galaxy Nexus does not have)?
2. I thought the Galaxy Nexus had only one partition, which is the reason why it does not have Mass Storage. Do I misunderstand anything there?
By checking Mike's partition info thread is looks like "Virtual SDCard" is a different partition
Will this Rom work on the LTE version?

Is anyone concerned with the warranty limitations imposed, from using the s-off service at htcdev.com, also will s-off be required to gain root?
Thanks, nice to see you working on my shiny new phone
Htcdev does not grant s off. It only grants bootloader unlock. There is a difference because no s off means no radio flashing and a longer method for flashing kernels. That is, if the One X even gets htcdev unlock around the time it comes out. Check my thread in the general section. I hope HTC has learned their lesson, because their delaying the bootloader unlock for previous devices has really screwed over the development. We need an unlocked bootloader to gain permanent root, to answer your question.

Q 1: After flashing Android Revolution HD my battery drains much faster. What can I do?
A: Please charge your battery to 100%, boot your device in ClockworkMod Recovery and go to Advanced ---> Wipe Battery Stats. Also see Question 7.

Q 3: When recording HD video, the playback of the clip keeps freezing. How to fix it?
A: This is probably SD card problem. Format your SD card (FAT32 recommended) to gain silky smooth playback.
Q 5: Is there any alternative for SetCPU? I think it slows downy my phone.
A: You can application called No-frills. Remember to check "Allow on boot" option.
Q 7: My CPU load is all the time nearly 100% and in most part it's used by system. What is the reason of that high CPU usage and how can I fix it?
A: Delete your htcsense.com account. It takes A LOT of your battery and CPU usage.
Q 9: I have some strange issues with my ROM that nobody reported before. What should I do in first place?
A: In first place you should check, if the MD5 Checksum is correct. Then flash ROM again and see if the issue is gone. A lot of strange issues can be solved this way.
Q 11: I can't send/receive MMS or I can't connect with mobile data connection. How can I fix it?
A: Please check your MMS settings or mobile data connection APN settings.
Q 13: When I listen to music from HTC stock player it accidentally pauses for short time and then keep playing.
A: Turn OFF fastboot in settings.
Q 15: My clock/weather widget doesn't show my location. How can I fix it?
A: Please clear data from Google Maps, Clock Widget, Weather, HTC weather sync provider and Weather Provider.
Q 17: I have com.htc.bgc process force close few times a day. How can I fix it?
A: It's because you have removed HtcTwitter.apk (HTC Twitter application). Please restore it.
Q 19: When I open up the call screen (where I see the recent calls and callers), the calls won't appear in the list. What to do?
A: Probably you are using 3rd party launcher. Remove the dialer shortcut and re-add it.
You think you're addicted from flashing ROMs, checking forum the whole day and you feel like "Android" should be your second name? Well, here's something for fun
