Hmm... same error. I will play around with it some more later tonight. My eyes need a break haha. Just S-off'ed and am going to watch some TV. I will update if I find a fix.

No that wouldn't be it.Once you flashed the other hboot it overwrites the the other and should not have any effect on the new hboot
You do have Moonshine S-OFF at the top of the bootloader screen ?

Should the script work fine on OSx or Ubuntu if we swap out the fastboot/adb files with the proper ones?

soooo...what's moonshine? i used Sunshine to get S-Off would this still work?
