Looks like I already found a problem, Redetect SDCards option in settings causes a crash due to not declaring it in the Androidmanifest.xml file.

I backed up Boot, Cache, Data, Recovery, System and Android Secure, but it only gave the option to restore Boot, System and Data. Not sure what Android Secure is and I didn't see options for EFS nor Modem. Nonetheless the backup and restore worked, even though I just restored over the same ROM.

In the wipe options, Factory Reset could be renamed System for consistency with TWRP's UI.

Redetect SD cards also caused a crashed as previously mentioned.

The splash screen is nice but it takes a bit too long, the duration could be shortened.

In the restore screen the 'source' buttons would be better if they matched the rest of the UI's buttons and moved further away from the ad, I accidentally clicked the ad when I meant to chose External SD Card.

The File picker's UI is kind of small for fat fingers, it could use a bigger font, around the size of the current selection buttons at the bottom.

I love the concept of the app and it works surprisingly well for an alpha. I wouldn't even call it alpha, more like beta. :) Keep up the good work and I'll be sure to buy the premium version when it is released.

I tested on my Note 2 N7100 running 4.1.2, Saber Kernel 29 and TWRP 2.5.0.0 with an 32GB Fat32 SD

As ReelFiles said above i will buy the premium as soon as it's out . Great work jmz . One request, could you make an option to add zip so that we can add Gapps when flashing AOSP roms or add other files to flash in one go ?.

I can't tell you how many times I wished I didn't have to boot into recovery at certain times but needed to flash/reflash something.
Amazing job!
This is going to save time by going through this great app then it does its thing.

Thanks for this! Will use for a little while and then decide if I want to be part of the Testers version for future development of the app. Also thanks for serving, I'm right there with ya bud!

Awesome. Thanks alot for all your hard work!
The first time I installed it, it would open and say "you need root to use this app" then close and it never prompted for superuser access. I checked SuperSu and it had root. So I uninstalled and reinstalled then it worked fine.
I opened it and ran a backup, it named it properly and put it in my normal ext SD card folder. Restored it successfully as well. Worked perfectly! I also flashed a minor mod successfully as well. Makes it so much easier. Thanks again! I look forward to future updates!
I'm using a Verizon Galaxy s3 w/TWRP of course.

Just did a backup on a Sprint Galaxy Note 2. Said successful. Did rename it but when I go to find it it just shows up as TWRP. In renaming, are spaces not allowed or what? About to try and load a new rom on it now to see how that goes and then restore the backup. Very smooth otherwise. Thanks:good::good:

Edit: Also, selected to use external memory and it still put it on internal unless that means that it is using the "external" part of the internal memory...if that makes sense. Lol.

This is strange - I get a message saying that root is required - It didn't ask me to Allow Superuser permission?

Using TWRP 2.5.0.1 on t0lteatt running Carbon 06/22

Did I miss something in the OP - I read every page (yeah I know there's only a few).?

Just grant it through the superuser app.

What I'm saying is that TWRP Manager does not trigger Superuser for me to allow it. I click on twrp manager & I ONLY get the message saying that it requires root access - nothing else.

And I know that and I'm telling to go to the superuser app and grant twrp manager superuser access? How easier can I explain it.

    Thanks:
DeesTroy - obviously without TWRP, this app wouldn't exist. Also, for letting me use the TWRP images for this app. He also provided consultation for this app.
Mazwoz - He is my partner in crime in this project and has done tons of work on this app.
Lithid - He helped with a few bugs including layout issues.

Flashing TWRP from within the app:
As long as your device is supported by Team WIN, you can now flash TWRP from this app.

    FAQS
    Q. Does this app support multiple zip queues?
    A. As of version 5.2 it does
    Q. Should I wipe/backup before installing?
    A. The app is intuitive and allows for backup and wiping from the install option.
    Q. Some of the features do not work, what should I do?
    A. If you get a message that says it is not implemented, it is not a bug. That is for future releases. If you get a force close or other issue, please let us know.
    Q. Will this work with other recoveries?
    A. No. TWRP Manager is programmed to run on TWRP only
    Q. My device is not supported by TWRP, is there anything I can do?
    A. If you do not have TWRP running on your phone, this app will not work for you.
    Q. Will this app install TWRP for me?
    A. There are no current plans to have this feature. Goo.im already does this and we do not want to step on any toes.

Hi guys, sorry no time to search. Does the app support zip queuing like in the actual TWRP? Thanks!

Not yet, but I'm working on the code right now.

    Hi,

I installed it on a Micromax Canvas HD (aka canvas A116) on latest LEWA rom.

It installed properly and i tried taking backups.

I selected all partitions, but it only backs up /data, /system and others, but it
does not backup android_secure and other partitions which are manually selected.

Also, immediately after backing up via the app, i backed up via the recovery and
    realised :
Backup via APP - 600mb+ only and 7 folders
    Backup via Recovery - 1GB + and 11 folders..

    Just for info.

Let me know what other info you will require.

    regards
    greg

That is weird. Did you also select everything in recovery? We don't have every option added under backup yet. Please note that we are working on adding stuff all the time.

Just published a new version to the play store. This version includes multiple zips, increases the size of file text and icon in the install activity and fixes the spaces not being allowed in the backup name.

Please give it a few hours to show up in the play store. Version number is 5.2

Will it support TWRP themes??

Also is an ad-less version planned?

Themes will be a future endeavor after app is stable. Ad-less version will be available sometime in the near future.
