so, i was wondering, its says captive keys are not working!!
Is it the light or the touch function??
DID they replace it with on screen buttons??

They do not work at all, as this is a nexus 4 port which doesn't have them. They flash with the led notification but do not function. On screen keys are enabled to allow use of the phone. Chadouming and thracky, amongst others are looking into it. Without our kernel source for jb itll be a lot harder. It'll come in time though.

Right now, houstonn is more working on it. Since i dont have my phone, i'm more a ressource than doing development.

Not sure, find it's better to wipe, that's what I always do, then restore settings and apps with titanium. Back up with titanium first then give it a shot.
I gave the dirty flash a try and everything seems to be fine thus far. If anything comes up I'll post just so people know not to do it but if anyone is feeling adventurous I haven't had any troubles yet.

Not sure what you mean, Ringtone/Notification volume is present in the sound settings. Able to seperate the notification from the ring volumes or link them.

And in AOKP settings there is an option to enable volume panel, so they're all visible when using the vol rocker keys.

Please explain what you meant and I'll see what I can do

What I would like to have the option of is link the volume for both notifications and the ring volume. So when I use the side volume rocker to turn the volume down, it turns both notifications and the ringer volume down.

Korean version is already out. They are waiting for the source code, it will answer a lot of questions.

That's right, LG just keep saying it's coming soon :p

Build 3 is up, still no capacitive buttons. Removed Nova launcher, replaced Google play music with sony walkman, added beats audio and build.prop tweaks from pimp my rom.

Hey haze I'm loving the ROM AOKP is my favorite out of them all but my issue is that there is no where to configure the lock screen ( shortcuts, wallpaper, etc

Well, I feel a little stupid now, I didn't realize that there was this NavRing built into aokp, which is just a serperate ring on the bottom of the lockscreen that is configurable.... oops...

Re: [ROM] *Unofficial* AOKP 4.2.1 [Jan-18-13]

I'm having boot loops on the Rogers E 971
Doesn't even show the unicorn boot logo
Tried wiping everything before
Tried wiping data and dalvik after as well

Same issue with cm 10
Was able to install cm before

Anyone knows what is wrong?

Just in case anyone is wondering, I tried doing a dirty flash again for build 3 and would not recommend it. I've gotten weird problems on startup where the navbar doesn't come up and apps that were removed from build 2 like play music foceclose all the time even though they shouldn't be running. So yes, following the instructions is the right thing to do in this case! :p

Not sure what is happening there, have you tried a full wipe and fresh install?

Re: [ROM] *Unofficial* AOKP 4.2.1 [Jan-18-13]

Tried full wipe
Both before and after

Black screen after LG logo, just sits there and heats up

Don't have to remove any lines from the updater script on this one right? Like cm 10

And I don't have to install build 1 and 2 before build 3 right?

I'll assume that doesn't mean you did a full wipe(system and data) after installing...

Not sure, I have the bell E973. If, however, you need to edit the updater script on cm10, it would stand to reason you should on this also, as chadouming's kernel and device tree was used to build AOKP

And I don't have to install build 1 and 2 before build 3 right?

Nope

    Build Instructions

    Moved to seperate building thread.
    3
Well i've finally got all my issues sorted, or the major ones.. which were all just my stupidity as i was suspecting :p

Anyways, i'm going to be putting up a build in a little bit here. Cap keys working, havn't added nfc yet(is there still the battery drain issue??).
It'll just be base aokp build 5, havn't added any apps or tweaked anything. Just figured it had been long enough without a release. Try it out, let me know... I'll update OP when uploaded

just realized that the sounds up/down is switched still. fixed for next build but not really an issue since i'm already uploading.

Build and mirror are up, I've been running for the last hour and a bit and i've yet to reboot, not saying it's fixed but... ;) havn't had a chance to check the wifi range sod, but let me know what you find is up or not working(aside from nfc, i've held off till i hear news on battery drain i was hearing about)

I re-read thru the link I posted above the previous post. Seems that the cause of the bootloops was an old version of recovery (CWM or TWRP).
If I recall correctly, I got CWM with freegee .5
    CWM version 6.0.1.5

Which recovery are u using Haze?

Use the recovery from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2010984(he has the latest posted which has been compiled for the att to use exFAT on the ext_sdcard,
which will show errors on our Canadian phones when loaded in recovery)

You would want to use the recovery of Sk8's CWM - no sdcard exFAT errors.

As for your above post. - you can wipe cache / wipe dalvik cache / you can even go ahead and goto mounts and storage and "format /system"

    install rom
    install gapps

after flash I always do a wipe cache partition / wipe dalvik cache (since it installs a kernel)

    then reboot system
