GPS + Signal drain
First off I wanna say thanks blindndumb I've tried both this rom and Jelly time and really appreciate your work so thanks and keep up the excellent work your a saint:angel:.
As for the GPS problems yip I also got them. Looks like GPS is not initializing at all and GPS status says its turned off when its on. Turning off and on or rebooting does not help. Installing the rapid agps patch from (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1442032) which I have done previously successfully on all roms I have ever flashed including Fallout, endymyon and Jellytime also by B&D, did NOT work either unfortunately.
Finally a comment on battery usage which I know is always subjective, but I have been very carefully monitoring so want to quickly comment.
Firstly I noticed the battery stat reporting is inconsistent for some reason. Sometimes it shows up as it should with the full breakdown but other times it simply shows android os as using 90+% and not giving the breakdown. When it gives the full breakdown it shows mobile standby as being a bit of a hog (approx 20-30%) compared with other roms I've used such as fallout, this seems a bit high to me. I know this is always subjective but I hardly touched my phone all day and screen usage was very low when I checked this and I at home all day where I have very good signal so its unlikely it was using extra juice scanning for signal or loosing signal, whilst it was idling.
Otherwise I have also noticed very good signal strength too, today I was browsing the net without wifi and it was flying. Which is great but makes me wander if these things are linked? A choice between battery life and signal strength is hard, think I would prefer to have signal strength if I had to choose but both would be better.
Finally everything else is perfect, camera is excellent and even panorama works. Very fast antutu 4836 at 1.5 Ghz excellent rom great work
