[Guide] How to enable Goodix fingerprint on Resurrection Remix 5.8.0 (Nougat)

Hi guys, I'll show you how I enabled goodix on this Rom

Before you install the rom
1. make wipes (data,system,cache)
2. Install rom zip
3. Install beanstalk boot.img (downloads below)
4. Install Goodix fix N.zip
5. Install Gapps and reboot

Really good information bro, but how do u know that flashing beanstalk boot and patch goodix N will overcome the fingerprint problem on Nougat? But really thanks bro just wonder how do you know it. @*Moon-

I ordered a fingerprint sensor parts at Aliexpress.com and changed it. It's a very simple way to fix the goodix sensor problem. It costs around $10-12.

Are you saying that changing fingerprint from goodix to fpc is possible?

This somehow helped. At least in the way i see the fingerprint option in settings, but when i try to add the fingerprint, Settings force close. Any help? (I flashed CM firmware before flashing the rom)

Im currently on RR Rom...ill flash the boot image and zip file directly. or do i need to flash the whole rom again with wiping?

I've set up four fingerprints still can not create unlock! any solution

No need to reflash your current ROM, just flash boot.img and goodix patch N in twrp recovery.

Try to remove all of your fingerprints and add them one more time

Can not Remove fingerprint! REMOVE ANY FINGERPRINTS WILL APPEAR AGAIN

I use this method in almost CM/AOSP Nougat based ROM and it works perfectly, but unfortunately it won't work on CAF Nougat based ROM.

Yeah fp works but can't unlock... It always say not recognized and i can't delete my fp..
Any solution to this issue?
