Hello. Months ago I debricked my device using a Riff Box JTAG.
Since then, my HOX won't turn on if I simply press and release the power button. Now I need to hold it, then the touch sensitive buttons area begins to flash 15 times. When it stops flashing I release the button and just press it again, then the phone turns on.

Eventually (1 out of 100) I notice this procedure is not needed and the phone turns on conventionally.

Have anyone else experienced this behavior?

So what you're saying is holding the power button for a few seconds doesn't bring up the power menu? What are your bootloader details? What's your current ROM/kernel setup? What is your current recovery?

I think he means when the phone is off.

When this happens is the phone off because you turned it off or because the battery has died?

Lol. Can't believe I completely misunderstood the post. This is a common problem for people running KitKat ROMs, please tell us the details I requested in my earlier post, then we can try to analyse your problem further.
