I tried it for you just now and no it does not.. Why is it you want to use service mode anyway ?

Use the service mode to view the network information, and sometime to look the Band.

And fOmey, pertaining to the speed tweak, is it possible to improve the speed but mainly while I'm using SwiftKey (like no lag or fall behind on the keyboard while typing) , I know it sounds dumb but that's my biggest gripe with a lot of roms mate

EDIT: In regards to swiftkey, Perhaps try making it a resident in memory, you can do so by going into per app dpi settings.

No worries and no problem mate! Is there tutorial you could link me to on how to go about using dpi as ive never used it in depth =/

EDIT, I think I figured it out, and it does seem to have sped things up a bit in that department,

That should lock swiftkey in memory, so the task killer wont end the process. Thus speeding up loading times.

In saying that tho, there shouldnt be a major lag anyway. I personally use the default keyboard included in the rom tho, So I cant comment too much.

On another note, I was hoping for a little more feedback on the releases..

Also im thinking about starting up a child project based on a stock samsung base when I get a chance.. I do miss a few samsung features, I havnt even tried stock firmware to be honest, I end up flashing GE as soon as I unwrapped my phone.

Ill keep you guys posted anyway on my progress.. I may get started tonight.

Hey there, yeah I hear what you're saying about locking it and I figured it all out, as for the feedback, it's great I'm not a very finicky person when it comes to extras with roms, all I like as many others do us good battery life and for it to be snappy, saying that it means that I like SwiftKey to be quick, so yeah. Otherwise your rom is awesome and I lived it everything was quick and snappy and worked as intended, extremely minimal battery lose while idling and even when using it quite moderately it maintained a good battery life,

Cheers, and any projects you undertake I will gladly try out!

I was thinking that I used to flash a hybrid ROM when I had my S2.
This is the thread.
Maybe your TW based ROM could be something like that?
I think it would merge the best of both worlds. Full customization, rock stable and all TW features as air view, air gestures (quick glance is awesome), watchon, etc.

What do you think?

Ah yes, that particular rom is based on AOKP.. What im planning is samsung with a few CM10.1 features..

I think that's perfect!
Currently I'm on CM10.1 but I miss the TW goodies.
Chameleon ROM also has ported AOSP apps just like NULL, which is a perfect combination

Quick update for those concerned, the Samsung edition version of the rom development has been going well.. I managed to get a nice looking base together.

Although I did notice the multidpi mods which bala_gamer provides dont work on any of the newer bases (MF8).. In saying that development has been paused until he updates his mods.

Simply put, I refuse to use a rom @ stock DPI values.. So from here on out till further notice google edition will remain as the base.

If you go for Samsung base, please try to provide an option to enable soft navigation keys on it cuz all other sammy roms require that 3minit framework. I love softkeys but i wish to use domination theme instead of thst 3minit theme
