Has anyone tried this adapter? it's specifically listed as being for the Mate:

Of course we cant... There is no MHL support listed on phone specifications. Thats not big problem but it would be nice

I acknowledge that MHL standard will not work. MyDP is another multimedia output standard that is made by VESA.
I was just wondering if MyDP standard would work instead, though I highly doubt it would.1
