[ROM] CyanMobileXperience , 2.3.8 Gingerbread based rom

This is my last effort to U8800pro users.
A Cyanmobile eXperience custom rom based on geno's cm7 , ported from motorola defy ....

INSTALATION
Go to recovery
Advanced / reboot recovery
Wipe data factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
Mounts and storage / format system
Install zip from sd card / choose zip from sd card / choose the rom zip
Reboot system now
Wait and ... Enjoyyyyy

HOW TO SETUP Spirit fm ...

MOVE DALVIK TO SD EXT PARTITION TO SAVE MORE SPACE TO DATA ( INTERNAL MEMORY)
STEP 1
For moving dalvik cache to sd ext partition , you must partition your sd card through recovery.
So, go to recovery ..
Choose advanced and reboot recovery.
Choose advanced and then partition sd card.
Then choose, ext = 512 ...
Then choose, swap = 0 ...
Let it finish ...
Put the MIUI multi ReBorn.zip in your sd, and flash the rom.
STEP 2 , (If you allready have a partitioned sd card, then you can skip the above first step)
Then, open root explorer and go to "data" folder.
Press and hold "dalvik-cache" folder and choose "move" .
Now go back and paste it to, "sd-ext" folder.
Press and hold "dalvik-cache" folder and choose "link to this folder".
Go back to "data" folder again and "create link" there.
That's it , reboot your phone and enjoy more free space to install applications.

NOTE 1. Rememper that partition sd, deletes everything in sd card, so have a copy of your sd card content to pc, to paste it back to sd.
NOTE 2. If you ever wipe cache and dalvik cache from recovery, then you must do the 2nd step and move dalvik to sd-ext again

Installation
Go to recovery

Install zip from sd card / choose zip from sd card / choose theme ... zip
After finish installation
Wipe cache partition
Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
Reboot system now
Wait and ...
Open theme manager , and apply ice10 theme anyway
Reboot your phone once more and enjoy JB look

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1999454... I know you told me that you aren't interested in ICS but this ROM is nearly perfect it just needs a little bit of your MAGIC to make it absolutely perfect.. I hope you reconsider, and try to work on this ICS ROm.. please do...
I know its an incredibly selfish request but still.. If anyone out there could do it I guess it you..

And how about random reboots ????
This is the major problem for me , or else i think that i can do some fixes with pika's release.
I hate random reboots as you know.

well I had used this ROM for about a week and i didnt have any reboots, its really nice with inbuilt swype keyboard.. I think you can really make this a wonderful ROM. also random reboots are caused by some misbehaving apps, that wreak havoc with memory and cause it to reboot. I think if you replace the system apk's in this with more stable ones from your releases.. that alone should dramatically change things!

Glad you like it , hope you will never have problems with this rom.
For titles colour , i don't know if there is an option to change it , though if you apply a theme like the JB theme in first post titles colour will be changed.

As you see the same problem like yours, solved by changing ... apns-conf.xml .
So try to change apns-conf.xml, on system/etc , with one from other rom , change permissions ( rw-r--r-- ) , reboit phone , restore defaults apn , and test if you're ok.

Go to system/etc and you will see it.

Which is your carrier? ??
Your carrier must be inside this apns-conf.xml , for 3G to work.

then .... tried various ROMs but nothing ......does not work ...... anyway my operator and vodafone Italy.

Try to restore default apn, do not try to add a new apn ..
Hit menu, and restore default apn.

tried different APNs-conf but to no avail .... also tried to reset APN but nothing to do

EDIT: the phone and recently returned because it has been in service because it does not touch the glass was changed and made more ..... updates but do not know if I can depend on this

Please try to flash another gingerbread rom, and tell me if you're ok with 3G .... just to test it.

with GB official ok though I tried to - [ROM 2.3.8] CyanMobile eXperience - [27/12/2013] - and 3 G not working...... I remember so

edit: I try Kalo ROM asp
