I have had problems with wifi that when I have tried to connect to my wifi was always authenticating, and doesn't connect. I have solved this flashing again the ROM without wipe, and now it works perfect!

It says that I have an LT18i and I have a SE Xperia Arc.

Thanks for the ROM!

I flashed this rom in this sequence:
ICS advanced stock kernel> Flashed this rom& add ons(my phone is a little bit laggy but tolerable and I'm fine with that)
Did I do this right?

I can't flash the ICS SE beta fw 'cause whenever I flash the system.img it says "the partition is not enough blah blah blah..anyone know how to deal with this problem?

getting a strange issue with this - for some reason the rom keeps telling me that my sim isn't inserted. despite this, i can still make calls and the network appears to be locking on correctly - but i can't retrieve internet settings or do anything else requiring the sim to be inserted. very odd, because it seemed to work fine during the initial set-up.

Did u flash the patch for your BB ? I got the same problem after flashing the patch . Solved the problem by re-flashing v2 without wipe

This version is the first Arconium that has no issues for me with ChompSms. It keeps working, no more white (or sometimes black) screens anymore!
I also have the strange bug with battery drain. Untill yesterday I had no battery drain. Yesterfday I switched off wifi and two hours later my battery was empty. I switched wifi off with about 70% batterypower.
When it was loading again, I saw it had 32% left? So 32% is empty?

I've been trying both this and Z's icelite, with a few build.prop mods and zep's supercharger script. No issues with speed, supercharger script negates any delay in opening apps or multitasking issues, but still getting launcher redraws, which can be pretty annoying.

ah, yes, i did flash the base 64 libraries after the install (i realised i was still on bb36, and thought i should update). i'll give it another try in a bit, see if that sorts it out :)

thanks!

Tried both bb with the patch , doesnt work ...... I get the same issue as you . Just reflash back v2 , you'll be fine :)

Well its still working great, few minor issues but since its based on a Beta FW version its to be expected.

Cant wait for V3 to come out as it has a lot of bits i like the sound of, i would love to be able to uninstall Google talk and a few other random bits of rubbish.

would love to be able to uninstall Google talk and a few other random bits of rubbish.

Use Root explorer/Titanium backup or similar. Just remove the apk from the system/app folder.

I opened the zip in Winrar before flashing and removed any apk's I didn't want, added a couple of my own then flashed it.

I've moved it back to system partition. Actually, there's no real benefit uninstalling it or moving it to data partition. First, Talk doesn't have any services running in the background hence zero RAM usage. Second, the system partition has a lot of leftover free space. Why not use it instead of putting it in data partition where installed apps sit?

I did a clean installation of this rom (coming from arconium 7.2).

1. installed DoomKernel ICS
2. installed WiFi module for foomkernel ics
3. From the new recovery, did a reset factory (for a clean installation)
4. installed this rom (v2).. everything ok
5. Since the first config (since Wifi detection), there is a screen problem. The new screen doesn't appear.. it freezes in the previous screen. When I noticed that, I finished the config "remebering" where should be the button to press... But after reboot, it's the same!

What can I do, plz? I tried to wipe dalvik, cache.. fix permissions... all the same..

Everything is work very well , Thank you very much

I'm found little speed problem just
- delay while press app drawer (Launcher2 , Nova Launcher , Xperia Launcher)
- lag when screen rotation

with this rom installed, is there any special way to relock the bootloader or just re-lock in the usual way? then update via SEUS?

As my LT15i is shown as an LT18i. Would doing this revert it back to LT15i or would I need to do something else?

I am loving ICS so far, but just want to be ready for the official non-beta ICS.

Thanks in advance!

There is but you have to search in the forum.
But still, you don't need to relock your bootloader. There will be a flashable CWM package once the official ICS update rolls out.

    Known Issues for 5.0

    • Touch controls might not work in AROMA Installer.
    • As with stock ICS, phone/contacts may take a while to start for the first time after boot.
    • If you didn't do a full wipe when coming from 4.1.B.0.431, you might have problems deleting bloatware.

    Troubleshooting

    • Flash the corresponding modules from the kernel you use (unless "modules included" is written) to make sure WiFi works properly.
    • If touch doesn't work in AROMA Installer, you can use hardware keys to navigate (like CWM).

    Installation

    1. Copy update zip to SD card.
    2. Flash a suitable baseband using FlashTool.
    3. Flash one of the listed kernels or any compatible ones.
    4. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery.
    5. Flash zip package.
    6. Follow on-screen instructions.
    7. Reboot.
