Hello,
I have a little problem, I was using RocketRom and know I wanted to try Rocket Miui but when flashing rom it stops at formatting system and I had alot of problems with recovery at HydraCore (v6.0.1.2), v5 version worked very well but I have constant problems. what to do ?

RocketROM what kernel?
Second thing place do a full wipe before flashing just to make sure everything works fine without an issue

Mines been on for 8.5 hours with 45 minutes of on-screen time today, and this includes updating to V2.
On 83% :good:
Battery drains way too quickly while on 3g..otherwise i would consider average drain.

I have RocketRom v11 so with HydraCore, I do full wipe I did all the steps and I tried without flashing kernel before but it just stops at formatting system???
Screen on all with surfing nearly on data only...not too bad from my point of view

Still getting my router issue in v2 where it will connect to my sky router and won't even find my parents sky router.
So have restored back too rrv11, I hope this is fixed soon because i really wanna use this as my daily.

Pretty sure its 2.4GHz as its exactly the same router as mine.
Just weird as they're identical, it finds and connects to mine no problem, but it won't even find my parents

Have you tried changing the channels from the router? My old Huawei refused to work with some channels on Dlink's router.

I looked at this earlier and they both use channel 3, which is the least congested at my house and also at theirs. They are both setup identically so I'm baffled
I've never had this problem on any rom, apart from this one

Same here mate as it sees everyone else but mine. Sat right next to it. Virginmedia here and changing channels means nothing nor frequency. New ROM and it connects straight away so router isn't to blame. Flash cm10 miui it connects as well.

When I'm at my parents, my phone will find the neighbours routers but not my parents.
I tried manually adding it but it still won't find it

Nice job eybee, I've been hiding for a few days so I'm behind didn't even notice v2 .. the only issue I've come across has been the laggy lockscreen and my older tapa talk not wanting to work..but still on version 1 (downloading 2 now..)
For those folks still have a few issues if your coming from another rom you may want to try installing it this way..but make sure you are on a safe kernel..
1. wipe cache/dalvik
2. mounts and storage- format system
3. factory reset- (yes you will lose you data so make sure you have a recent backup)
4. install the rom and reboot...
this has saved me many a headache..
For those folks still have a few issues if your coming from another rom you may want to try installing it this way..but make sure you are on a safe kernel..

- included languages: English, Chinese, French, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Danish, Russian, Arabic, Ukrainian, German, Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, Greek, Turkish, Vietnamese, Portuguese (not all apps are fully translated in every single language...but most should )
- it is a flashable zip, so flash over RocketMIUI v5 in Recovery and Wipe Dalvik Cache before!

Though the ROM is NoWipe, PLEASE FullWipe before installing!!! Regardless from which ROM you are coming! You won't regret - promised!!! FullWipe is at least needed, to make SPlanner and included Calendar working properly - even if you were on other unofficial MIUI before!
a) coming from Rocket MIUI v6 - v7 :
- just flash over with Wiping Caches before in Recovery
b) coming from any other ROM (including any MIUI-ROM!!!):
- download any Hydracore Kernel from gavins thread in 'Original Android Development' (if you already have installed a brick free kernel, you don't have to do step 1. - 5. - but be sure you have!!!)
- put zip-file on your USB-storage
- boot in Recovery
- Flash Hydracore Kernel!!!
- boot back in recovery!!! (you find this option under 'advanced')
- FullWipe
- Flash ROM
- reboot system
- ..you are done
24ok guys.....I have SNote running now....perfectly, forever on MIUI, without using old data.img from TW-ROMs...it is just running after a clean and sober install with FullWipe as it should be.....YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
