Normally this shouldn't happen, your script is executed in the wrong directory.
Please try the following:
1. start whatsapp_xtract_console.bat
2. check which folder is displayed there, is it still C:\Windows\System32 ? (If yes, you need to to step 3 and 4, if No and there is something displayed with Whatsapp, you can directly go to step 5)
3. If yes, switch to the Windows Explorer Window and click on the name of the folder location in the top of the window: "> whatsapp >"
Now copy the whole folder name, for example C:\Documents\Whatsapp
4. Switch to the cmd window, type "cd C:\Documents\Whatsapp" (just paste the Folder name)
5. Now paste the command "python whatsapp_xtract.py msgstore.db.crypt"
Done! Now it should work.
I tried following your instructions, but I still have a problem: h**p://i47.tinypic.com/18ek5f.jpg
Code:
C:\Windows\system32>cmd.exe /t:A0 /k python whatsapp_xtract.py -h
python: can't open file 'whatsapp_xtract.py': [Errno 2] No such file or director
y
C:\Windows\system32>cd C:\Users\Gabri\Desktop\whatsapp
C:\Users\Gabri\Desktop\whatsapp>python whatsapp_xtract.py msgstore.db.crypt
