It appears that even though the bootloaders and kernel are signed, it does allow to flash a non-signed kernel, so ...

Will have to make a CF-Root to 100% verify.

Seems no bootloader patch needed. And even if it was, this wouldn't boot with the unsigned bootloaders.

is that means we are SAFE and we can later flash any non-signed kernels right
i can't believe it :)
am going through the last step now :)
hopefully its working xD

Sorry, I'm having a simpler day today.

If I install this and decide not to keep it, am I then able to flash overcome (or any 2.2) kernel + rom?

Don't know about downgrading... maybe it works, maybe it doesn't :)

Re: Sprint, I have no idea, but I doubt it'll work.

Why won't my tab charge faster.. For those who have installed it does it have all of the phone framework for making calls?
Based on how the update went on the i9000 then the Bell 2.2 modem *should still be compatible..

Please post some impressions. Is the native browser smoother than before? That was my main issue with froyo. Thanks!

Also, if I'm on overcome (as many others are), how can we go about updating to the stock gingerbread? Can someone post a brief guide for us noobs?

Thanks!

Works perfect on my Bell Galaxy Tab. Even picks up the 3G settings automatically. Thanks!

PS. Will this also work on Sprint CDMA Tabs as well?

I have a new version of CF-Root running... just some more testing and it will be released :) Probably within an hour or two. All CF-Root goodies from the SGS have been ported over as well ! :)

CWM/RFS, CWM App, Tweaks App, Ext4 support, etc!
