Hi, I had to downgrade my OSPL to be able to install RSPL/HSPL and push custom ROM to my HTC HD7. i was successful in downgrade as per instructions here. this is the status after downgrade
.
Model: HTC T9296 (Telstra)
Model ID (displayed on OSPL mode): PD29120
OS Version: 7.0.7389.0
Firmware Revision Number: 2250.10.22002.841
Hardware Revision Number: 0002
Radio Software Version: 5.65.09.11_22.44.50.15U
Radio Hardware Version: A.22.0.D4
Bootloader version: 2.20.2250.0(118798)
Chip SOC Version: 2.2.5.0

Now when i try to install the RSPL the following error message is displayed though the article(http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=16189671&postcount=1) says it will support Schubert: “PD291200”. I have tried both DFT_XSPL_WP7FG1 and DFT_XSPL_WP7FG2, but it shows the same error.

[Error Description]:

Invalid ModelID. This means that your phone not supported.
This installer supports only limited number of the phones.
SPARK, MOZART, MONDRIAN, GOLD, SCHUBERT.
If you have phone from this list, but still have this error, please contact with DFT team.

[Info]: USBWorkRSPL.cpp (235)

[Error Description]:

ModelID is 'PD291200'. Please report this info to DFT.

[Info]: USBWorkRSPL.cpp (234)

Could you please suggest what should i do?

you should click the Thanks button, instead of thanking me in a post. : )
and you are welcome. glad i can help.

yep, with Bootloader version 3.1 start with RSPL.
when you flash a Custom ROM, it will be replace your current OS and Radio, if included with Custom ROM.

Radios give you your signal... so, a different Radio could help give you a strong signal in places.

I got an htc hd 7 tmobile when i turn it on i shows a phone connected to a laptop
Is this dead?
I tried zune and it said restoration failed.
Can i use this methods to recover my htc hd7?
