Hi!

yes with htcraphael_defconfig xperia boots.
O.K. that's fine!
Still got no device, so testing is a bit difficult at the moment ;)

I will ask some people about 7xxxA jtag pins and let you know if I have any information.
That's very nice. Got some info about MSM7xxx JTAG chain (could be manually converted to a valid BSDL file, i suppose).
Also see attachment. There's another similar but smaller row on the PCB.

Right, It copies some revision (see date of file upload) of the android git ti1251. It should enable you to build the kernel module.

Aaah i see :D

That will be nice. Let me know when you tried.
Yepp, patch integrates fine to the source, because it's very clean.
Need to check some internals though....

Regards,

scholbert

ehh, always the same questions ...
this is angstrom (linux distribution), not android

At this moment we are working on linux kernel (hardware support etc). After that, running android will be match easier.

if you want to use this linux, please login on root account without password.

Hello

I just pushed all my patches to linuxtogo git repo - htc-msm-2.6.27 branch - and made it public:
If somebody wants to build his own kernel or make some patches, from now, hi can! Just download last git tree.

Quick compilation: (u need toolchain and environment)
Code:
make htckovsky_defconfig
make menuconfig
make

If somebody wants to change something without joining to linuxtogo team - pleas contact me via email/pm.

Drivers

Hi guys, I can't seem to find info on how driver development is going for kovsky (have searched htc-linux). Anyone got a link to this info or know how it is going? Is there a port of X running yet?

Hi Oobly!

Hi guys, I can't seem to find info on how driver development is going for kovsky (have searched htc-linux). Anyone got a link to this info or know how it is going? Is there a port of X running yet?
How about reading the thread and follow the links to the kernel sources :p
It may also be very helpful to gather some informations about similar projects (e.g. linux on htc raphael) and get familiar with haret and the kovsky hardware.
Right now everything is under development, that's why there's not much documentation about it

Have fun!
