The new icon and new name is probably going to confuse a lot of people. Not much has changed in the app itself besides the logo and name. Granted, there is an explanation upon first launch that its just a name change you'd have to launch the app to get that.

For many novice users who always go for the green Market icon, they are going to be shocked when the update is pushed to their phone and the green Market icon disappears.

I would think that it's quite obvious with it just taking the space of the old one

I'm a bit confused here, my android market apk was replaced with Google Play Store apk. However I still have the old market icon and no new Google Play store icon in the app drawer. Anyone else have the same thing?

edit: never mind it sorted itself, i now have the new icon.

I got the update.

Launcher now says Play Store instead of Market.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's not much different from 3.4.4 at all lol! Aside from the name... I don't see or notice any differences really. Am I missing something? You can push and name it Vending.apk for total replacement for those curious. Also, you can just clear market cache and defaults and the update will appear on its own (probably just US for now).

Google Play Video will not install for me. Says "There is an error parsing the package" But the others work. Awsome!
