yup, definitely, forgot to fix the permission on my first flash, totally stuck on the boot screen forever
I do, but had them also before with standard mem setting - but with working kernel features it's at least one less bug for me at the moment! :victory:
Yeah, if you check logcat you can see a lot of services related to audio and media are dying. I think someone posted his logcat a few pages ago with exactly these messages, I got the same.
U mean ur stuk on bootloop ? If not y don't u try re flashing again.

Up until now, am still at V1. I had the temptation to move to V2, but my good (read: excellent) experience has stopped me from flashing. There was only one instance when the ringtones vanished (only cyanogen tones were left). However, after rebooting, all's well again. After that, I haven't run into any serious issues (and hopefully won't anytime soon). I have one question, though. Whenever I am switching to Nova Launcher, it's all cool. Then suddenly (let's say after reading a text message), it just goes back to the default launcher without any warning. Just curious. Thanks guys! Thanks Devs! ^.~
Short summary of current version:
It's really great we could have JB so fast on our SGS and thanks for that, but in fact, current ROM is IMO only for testing purposes. There's a lot of things that just doesn't work properly, most annoying are sounds, camera and APN issues. I'm also got very poor wifi signal (even when I'm 2 meters from router). I know that devs need much more time to make everything work as it should be, so I'll be patient and wait for updates. Thanks for your hard work.
Someone could ask: "Why you wrote things like that? It's alpha!" Yea, I know, but I see that MANY ppl here demand fully working ROM in few days after releasing first version. It's not possible.
If you want fully working, almost bug free ROM stay with ICS for now. JB is in testing state. But if you want to help devs flash and log every bug you find

to all those who had phone signal problems even after you re add your apn or enable-disable airplane mode, flash a new modem, I flashed JVU modem at here http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=21102115&postcount=626 , it work like a charm, remember to enable-disable airplane mode after flashing a new modem
with Apex launcher the same problem, when i try to scroll app drawer faster,it lags

no no, previously my phone was stuck at bootscreen because i forgot to fix permission, after reboot to recovery and reflash and fix permission, it works again, but then i cant get my phone signal no matter what I do, but luckily someone suggested my to flash a new modem, so I did, and everything is fix!! there is no problem at the moment except the ringtone disappear after some time and have to reboot for media scanning to run again to readd those ringtones
flash the gapps already? if yes, go reboot and let media scanning run again, when the ringtone is on the list, select carefully and avoid mediaprocess to FC, or else you gonna lose all those ringtones and force to reboot again to enable them

- reboot recovery

if you are coming from a previous version, older than 08/28 your data will get wiped due to new partition layout!

- replaced ear.apk with one supposed to work (user report)
- replaced hw composer with the one from nexus s (this is the jb one, old release was using ics hw composer)
- fixed recording of 720p (upstream fix to media_profiles.xml

Had to clean my build folder. Wifi working now, after clean rebuild. I am trying to fix the other small issues, and upload the fixed version tomorrow morning... Compiling clean is taking many hours on my old computer...
