HUH? Wait.... Thats not my screenshot. And apparently you did not read the post before your post.?. Didnt mean to offend. lol

Sorry, that's the screen shot representing the ROM from the OP. That's what I was referring to - the OP.

Bottom line is that Miui *always* borrows heavily from CyanogenMod. Thats fine, but don't then don't say it's based on Miui and nothing else. Thats just pure BS - and that's a fact, not opinion.

No need to say sorry...

Agreed! :D My sarcasm was meant for the OP as in (his response) wud be just that, unless he wants to give cred where cred is due!

Just saying. I myself use MIUI as well.

Edit: Dont take this the wrong way OP... thats just my 2cents...

Man I'm coming from the dinc1 forums....never any real bickering. What's going on in this place. Makes me not want to read anything or follow threads.

okay, here's a question to get this thread back on track... I've seen a version of MIUI on an HD2 that I really liked. One of the things that struck me was a sliding dock that moved independent of the different homescreens. does this version have the sliding dock feature or was this a custom theme?

my guess would be that it was a mod....were they using the miui launcher?

It depends on the themer. All miui themes have a slightly diff twist to them. Some people add the sliding dock some do without.

And there's no bickering here lol. It was just me being a playful smart ass about the ROM... We're back on track now... Right? Lol

Not trying to get this off track but I think he gave cred in the correct way. He listed what THIS rom was based off of. Not what the miui Rom he based it off was based off (if that makes sense....lol) as long as they give credit to their inspiration and their inspiration gives credit to their inspiration, I see no wrong. Just think of it as if you saw your friend's painting and thought it was neat but wanted to add your own flair you would take parts of it and make it similar to your friend but with your own twist. Then your other friend comes along (friend #2) and decides to do the same basic thing as you did with friend #1s painting. Now who do you think friend #2 is going to lend credit to for his inspiration? It would be you. Its the same sort of thing here.... So I think its no harm no foul as long as we all know who did the painting first. Lol.

Easy for people who have nothing invested to say. When it's your time and sweat, maybe you'd feel differently.

Wrong. This rom is not based on that ROM only. It uses the CM kernel *I* built for Inc2. Even so, your logic doesn't hold water.

Don't even try to tell me what he's doing is okay, because it's not. Not on any level.

Sorry dude. I believe credit should be given where credit is due but it's bickering back and forth that makes us all look childish. Was just kidding too, hence the "lol"

Agreed :) its nothing to fight about. I understand him being upset about not getting credit when it is his kernel.... But I don't think it was intentional on the OPs part.

Wrong is wrong. Its really easy for creepy people to do what they do when other creepy people are willing to let it slide for laziness or greed guised as keeping peace.

enough about who wants credit for what, for christ's sake, you're name is on the Kernel, so what if the OP didnt cite every single person who had their hands on this ROM. In reality, the vast, VAST majority of people reading this thread would skip over the credit section, so it's really not a big deal. Just be happy that people are using your Kernel, which again, has your name on it.

Now if we can get this thread back to issues that matter to more than just one single person, can someone PLZ let us know if this ROM comes in english? I've seen this question posted at least 3 times with no answer

Bugs, issues, and working/non-working features would be nice too ;)

This ROM is based on MIUI 2.3.4 by laibo for Droid Incredible 2 (HTC s710d) only.

    Source Link:
    http://www.diypda.com/viewthread.php?tid=288123

    Attentions:
    1.MUST be S-OFF
2.NEED CM Recovery 4.0.0.5 (suggest this version)
3.WIPE all of data before update rom.

PS. It's the first version, there will be some unknow bugs.
