I think it still has stock recovery. I think all I did was unlock it so I could disable the bloatware. Preferably, I'd like to have the OTA image and the ability to freeze or uninstall bloat that I just will never use. I'm not someone who wants to mess with ROMs, I just don't want to see all that crap on my phone.
When I boot to recovery I see:

So my goal at this point should be to re-lock it and figure out flashing of a PH98IMG.zip file?

sadly there is no time limit for them to release it. standard practice that linux dev have started was 14 days, but most company's wont release it for up to 90 days. :/

Download the file, rename is PH98IMG.ZIP and put it at the root of your SD card. Reboot into the bootloader (hold volume down and power) and it will ask if you want to update. Assuming this is the same as the other RUUs, you'll need to flash it twice.

It appears that these downloads are a zip inside another zip. Unzip the downloaded file and use the file inside for flashing.3here you go, mediafire link to the new update, courtesy of android police:
