Hi guys...
Im not a dev but a little bit cooker...:D

So, i take Great AlBa ROM and i added/removed some things for me and my friends in Greek forum.
I havent take the permissions from xaos yet, but if he dont want to give me, no problem at all.I will remove it.
I didnt want to start new thread cause i respect the great devs here and as i told im not dev!

So, what i changed???

  • New AlBa based
  • Removed useless apps
  • Build XXLQ3
  • Modem XXLPT
  • Kernel CF XXLQ3
  • Multi CSC
  • No Russian in setup (i still love Russia...:D)
  • SG3 Bootanimation
  • SG3 media
  • SG3 Launcher thanks to Goa
  • Hack modded SMS-App (No MMS convert)
  • No MTP connection, only usb mass storage
  • Call recording
  • Ashish's_15_Toggle in status bar
  • S3Fugutweaks build in
  • Some small tweaks
  • Gps tweaked
  • more i dont remember....

How to install:
Install abyssnote 4.2 kernel
In recovery-advance-Reboot into Recovery (not reboot system!!!)
Wipe data/factory reset-wipe cache-wipe dalvik (twice is always better)
Install ROM
Reboot system

*Its NOT flashable .zip.If you want any of missing apps just put any .apk in /system/app before (on pc open .zip ROM) or after installation (with any file manager).

hey the modded version is AWESOME:)..SMOOTH scrolling...but can you please make the notifications dropdown pure black instead of that grey background behind ongoing or notifications or guide me how to do it>

How to go back to Gingerbread 2.3.6?

Can I restore my CWM Recovery Backup? (I have a back up of CheckROM Note HD that i took few days ago when I was on 2.3.6)

Is there anything I need to do to flash back to gingerbread or should I follow the same procedure to flash back from ICS to GB?
- Install Abyss Kernel
- Wipe/Reset Factory Data
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Restore Nandroid Backup


Does reverting back to GB from this rom use the same method? Thanks.

Thank you mister for your feedback...:)...im really demanding user and i didnt share it if i wasnt satisfied!
For notification dropdown...Its already pure black m mister...:confused:...I dont know what you want...
BUT you can take QuickPanelSettings.apk, SystemUi.apk (put them in /system/app with any file explorer) and lidroid-res.apk (put it in system/lib with any file explorer) from original AlBa, OR try the same files from another LQ3 custom rom with status bar you like.As i said im only a chef and i dont want to change anything inside any .apk..;)
Make a backup first of course...;)

Who gives a @@#@ about paying insanely taxes in Greece right now! Point is that this "prison" of yours that we share, as I leave in Athens as well, is a heck of a sunny and "paradisious" prison right??? LOLOLOL!!!

Anyway I enjoy your version of the Alba Rom and I find it smooth, stable, speedy, battery "monsterous" and I plan on staying on this long long enough and have the chance to really enjoy GALAXY NOTE!!! Thank you Elthis your are the man!!! Thanx xaoc of course!

should i need custom recovery for your rom or just copy kernal and rom to sd card and flash via normal recovery which already exist on my phone?

Please see instructions carefully as you probably would need to install abyss kernel and then do the wipes and install new rom from recovery.. It depends what rom and kernel you have now on board

    The uploading zip including S-note and there is no f/c...

    edit:So here the flashable .zip.Including working all new S staff from LP6.Just install via recovery and wipe your dalvik.
