I have installed titanium backup pro, and I want to factory reset my stock note 2 rooted kitkat as I think battery life is not good as of now.
Kindly suggest me how to go about it and get the phone working in current state with all apps and data intact after hard reset
After hard reset root is gone?
How to back up apps and data so that the previous image of the system doesn't come back and so is battery drain?
I did it all with my original Galaxy S, but it was 2-3 years ago and things might have changed now
You are rooted so nandroid backup is the best and easiest option. Then you can restore apps and data from the backup using Nandroid manager app from playstore. This is what I do.
Don't know what happens if you reset a rooted phone. I did it on Galaxy Note and got a bootloop. Had to restore a nandroid backup then. Still I don't know if that happens everytime. Best option is to take a nandroid and try it
