I don't know if anyone follows trevs ciq and logging removal tool. But the pro version worked fine on Scott's 4.1 build. I am HTC logger free and still issue free. Just a fyi

So... Are you saying that I left the loggers in? Or you tested it and they were not in? I thought I go them all but if you see any let me know ASAP!

Where is the transparency pack at??

Sent from ICS CLEAN ROM 4.0 REZOUND

Should be in a CleanROM folder on the SD Card after flashing.

There's a walk thru on HTC perflock. Lemme dig up the link. Set CPU and a few of the other CPU handlers have a option inside to disable it. Didn't work on the last leak. I have yet to try on your latest work

Yeah, I might be able to disable it via scripting. I just never thought of it before. That might solve some of the erratic frequency hopping we are seeing...

Well, I guess I might as well forget going to bed now that you got the wheels in my head turning again! lol

Set Cpu has never been able to disable HTC kernel although it has the option.

I don't think any of the CPU tools have been updated to work with the ICS kernels or they just haven't figured it out yet...

FYI:

Just upgraded to 4.1 from 4.0sp1 with no wip. The only problem I had was "newbayservice" was force closing constantly. Seeing how that is junk, I deleted that app and all is GOOOOD! All my setting and home screens reloaded as normal. Great job on the ROM.. Keep up the good work.

Has anyone else been having issues with the Play Store after the update? Mine keeps force closing. I came from 4.0 SP1 with no issues and did a full wipe to 4.1.

EDIT:
It was still closing after I did a reboot but I fixed it by installing the latest Play Store apk

definitely a problem

I just downloaded new firmware twice and then loaded 4.1 and everything went well.
for some reason my wifi is screwed.
I've tried at both my home and office, where I always get good connections, and I either can't connect or I connect and then disconnect.
I've tried to go through a bunch of pages and I seem toremember seeing this elsewhere, but I can't find a solution
thanks in advance.

Question for anyone running the 4.1 update. I have heard since the SP1 update that the recent apps is broken.

Does that mean the recent apps in the notification bar or the new ICS recent apps....the live tiles when you hold the home button?

I really love the live tiles so I wont update from 4.0 if they are broken.

Thanks to anyone.

Recent apps is in the pulling and by long pressing home button. Both are working on 4.1

sorry for noob question
just downloaded new firmware but can't remember how to get back to bootloader from off position
thanks in advance for any assistance

make sure you disable fastboot in power settings, otherwise you can't get to bootloader without a battery pull.

no problems for me. Just installed some apps.

Is anyone having overheating issues?

Not yet... To early to probably tell. What temps are you seeing? I'm at 111f on 4G playing around. Using extended battery. Battery usage says 340 mah, not bad with screen on.

    Alternate Kernels

I have created a flashable 3.13.607.5 Kernel and a flashable 3.14.605.5 Kernel for the ROM.

Some people feel that the 3.13.607.5 kernel gave better battery and cooling than the latest kernel.

Feel free to download and test for yourself!

These are in old school method as to make one simple step for everyone. This also resets mainver to 1.00.000.0 :D

    Instructions
    1. Download to root of SD Card
    2. Reboot to Recovery
    3. Flash Zip
    4. Phone will reboot to hboot
    5. Press power one time so it will scan the SD Card
    6. Install boot.img when prompted
    7. Reboot when prompted

    Download the 3.13.605.7 kernel HERE

    Download the 3.14.605.5 kernel HERE

Np. Not trying to bite your head off or anything, but wipe is always almost recommended.

You get to go off on someone and get a thanks for that.

I post a killer ROM and then a mirror by request and I get **** :(

700+ downloads in 7 hours and I have 12 thanks. Im not complaining... But really?
