When you get the update, please save the /cache/dlpkgfile so we can pre-root it and make it work with CWM.

The OTA for ICS will be released tomorrow for UK users! Confirmed by ASUS UK Facebook page
I live in the UK but I think I have a US transformer, I guess that means I'll have to wait for the US release still? :s
No, you should be able to flash worldwide when it pops and hopefully it'll pop prior to the US release
US release should be before the UK release, so I expect it today..

La versione per il nostro territorio (update FOTA 9.2.1.11) verrà distribuita a partire da domani. Mentre gli utenti di TF101G (quindi la versione 3G) dovranno avere pazienza fino a primi giorni di marzo. Come vedete le tempistiche sono state rispettate al millesimo. E soprattutto... in mezzo a voci ed illazioni di ogni tipo alla fine ad avere ragione eravamo proprio noi di ASUS Italia, sostenendo fin dal principio che l'update sarebbe arrivato entro la fine del mese.
Questo per ribadire che se volete le info più aggiornate e attendibili riguardo ad ASUS e ai suoi prodotti... dovete leggerle su questa fanpage! E ora godetevi ICS

Fixed that for you.
Anyway, before I actually go and update the firmware (when it's actually available to download I should probably to a backup. What is the process actually like?
Also, what about current apps installed? Will the market app notice apps that use a higher API level and update automatically, or will it need to be done manually?
