Brightness

the brightness bug is still there...anyone knows how to resolv the problem. i like keeping the brightness at max but it dims sometimes...no isues in "auto"

Since it is specific to LG Optimus 2X i have to ask this. I need to understand

1. What are the advantages of new bootloader ?
2. Does CM10.1 support it ?

Official CM10.1 isn't present supports. The new bl is necessary for installation of official Rom on the basis of 4.0.4

new boot loader is the new ICS Stock way LG has.....partitions are different from GB.

CM 10.1 uses the old GB boot loader....so to change from new boot loader to old, user has to use the All in One Tool Kit found in the developers section sticky thread, changing partition and so on.

Hope this is some information which is useful

Or the other way around, a lot of people are on the Old Bootloader and IMHO I think everyone should be on the old bootloader, using tonyp's work you can make official ICS roms on the old one and all bootloader bugs have been fixed so there is no reason to use the new one. and besides, aremcee is developing official CM10.1 on the old bootloader, so you can get update's quicker.

my friend,

let us not start a boot loader war again. I am on the new boot loader and many of us using the Stock based ROMs. LG has introduced the new boot loader and I am no one (neither has the expertise nor the knowledge) to comment on why they have come with that. There must be some reason for sure(hopefully)

I dont want to jump to say that you have to be here cause of this or that.....will it not be wise if we leave it to the user to decide what he wants....(or the developer what he wants to make)

I mean no offense to any developer....I owe a lot to each one who has made this device such a good one...but this is my sincere opinion....

Well there are also many of us on the new bootloader. It has official ICS Rom,CM10 and CM10.1. And you get the updates as quick as with the old bootloader.
So it just depends on what you prefer. Official CM support or bigger system size.

I use either one as the other! According depends on how early in the morning or what time I go to bed at night, hahahahahahah! ... I'm free to choose any of the ROM's that the dev's (My Thanks to All) put the free our disposal!

AIO Tool Kit also enlarge to 512MB...

Second: I do not use CWM, I use TWRP. Can I flash this ROM?

I'm use TWRP [OLD BootLoader] and works fine!

This rom is for now working on the OLD bootloader as the developper didn't even know (yet) about the new one.. But Mivv said he will port it to the New one after tests.
About TWRP.. I can't really help you, but I would be surprise if it doesn't work.

I already told that we don't have any knowledge on bootloaders used in p990. We support close to 40 devices and it is difficult to know device specific issues. We take CM as base and do changes in frameworks, system app and do server side stuff.

Ya...like this...i'm now with AVATAR ROM, and it´s very fast!
It is regrettable only for OLD BootLoader, but hopefully a new version out for NEW BootLoader!
