ok so the s4 was shipped with jellybean. but cyanogenmod made kitkat to work with the s4. So why hasnt anyone made a android 2.2 froyo rom? i know its old but it would be intresting and good for testing. What im trying to say is why hasn't anyone ever ported an older android os to a newer device and is it possable.

Why would anyone do that? I mean it's not worth the time and froyo is a huge set back from newer android versions.

This is simply not possible as the current available drivers from qualcomm is meant to work for jellybean

The octa core (watever) is best suited for jelly bean or further bt not froyo n also froyo wont offer you features n interface which jelly bean offers.

And besides, froyo has absolutely no support for Dual cores at all. If I'm not mistaken only Gingerbread was able to utilize a second core. What more a quad core device.
