Yes sir, tested by me, I have the dual sim variants too

V5.3.6 connection to google servers lost
No gapp can work

Also on installing su app LOW MEMORY MANAGER fails to work
gradually RAM fills completely and then tablet restart
I have to completly unroot by app option in su app
Now everything is fine except gapp issue
So anybody facing these issus or i m only
One thing i tried to install xposed framework but not reboot due to fear of bootloop
I uninstalled its driver without even using it once
After that on next boot i even restored factory image by FASTBOOT MENU .
Even after this i face above 2 serious issue
So i think it must be Asus update itself where is there a fault and preventing us from gapp connection to net

There is a full firmware zip on Asus Support page but this packages i corrupted anyway. So you can send it back to ASUS Repair Center

Must be send back to Asus Repair Center?There is a full firmware zip on Asus Support page but this packages i corrupted anyway. So you can send it back to ASUS Repair Center

Hello everyone. I have a headache now facing my problem.
Purchased a new DUAL SIMS ME175CG K00Z, and updated it to 3.5.6 WW from update setting tool from my device, and it was going well.
Now, from 3.5.6 version can not updating, flash, or upgrading at all after I root it using a method from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2718873&page=7
I stack on 3.5.6 version, meanwhile in here some people GLAD THEY'VE SUCSESSFULLY UPGRADE TO 5.3.X...
Please set a method for me... I have tried OTA, and end with failed notification while installing... same result by DROIDBOOT, or copy-paste to internal storage the "UL-K00Z-WWxxxxx.zip"...

so here we are - ASUS released Android 4.4.2 for nearly all Fonepad's and i release the root.zip for them
Instructions starting from a rooted K00Z 3.5.6WW:
1. Revoke all changes to existing files in /system, activate all default apps you have previously deactivate with root-access tools like RootAppDelete etc. (IMPORTANT - ASUS checks all of their bloatware in their update process - otherwise update process fails or your device get bricked) - there is no need to uninstall SuperSU
2. Disable/Uncheck SuperSU's Survival mode (Open Supersu > Settings)
3. Upgrade via OTA and let it start to the new ZenUI - System should show you a message that ota update was successfull. SuperSU should be already there - but it does not find any su binary
4. To help him find his binary shutdown device, go to droidboot, connect pc to device via fastboot and write "fastboot flash update root_K00Z_x.x.xXX.zip" - use the attached file
5. After boot phase - System should show you a message that update process was successfull. Open SuperSU and update su binary. Sometimes it does not work the first time - so easily reboot the device and try it a second time after that.
6. Sing "Look at my horse, my horse is amazing ..." :laugh:
I tested it with my rooted K00Z
Instructions starting from a non-rooted K00Z:

I think you have the same problem like what i've got a few weeks ago, luckily @fussel323 want to help me step by step in order to overcome this problem, he told me to go to /cache/recovery, in that dir you should have "last_log bla bla.txt", that file will show the reason why you got an error while downloading the ota file

I rooted my device and install some fonts (my build is ww 5.3.6 android 4.4.2)
now my device keep saying :
go launcher stopped working
... stopped working
(and now it stuck in Intel inside logo)
I try to go to Asus support , it has v3.5.6ww version (zip file)
I copy to sd card, try to rename asus_bundle.zip ... etc but it not worked.
so I think it need a stock firmware 5.3.6ww
I search the forum but only me372 asus tablet has the raw firmware stock
anyone please help me!

It seems that your current app_process in "/system/bin" was changed/modded/corrupted, the only thing you need is the original app_process which fits the sha1 check, unfortunately i can't share you that file since my fonepad wasn't rooted because i don't have any windows pc/laptop with me now, i hope there's a good guy who can give you the original app_process in "system/bin"
When you already have/downloaded the original app_process
1. Go to root explore (or any file manager which can have the root access)
2. Copy the original app_process that have been downloaded before
3. Go to "/system/bin/(paste it here, replace the corrupted one)"
4. Set the permission to 0755
5. Reboot
6. Try update through ota again
If you still got an error, check the "last_update-script.log" again

Can I have a little bit more information about that please.
I was hoping to use this version as a base for some customization... So what's wrong with this pack? You can't install it at all and get an error with it?
I checked the install process and everything seems to be fine, a good point of this version it makes a clean install of the system partition.
Here is app_process (extracted from stock firmware 3.5.6WW from ASUS website). It has SHA1 checksum of d518330608cc315996556824c736cb250239ded6 .

41Successfully rooted european K00Z (Single SIM)
Hi guys,
based on the guide from [ROOT] Asus FonePad 7 / K00E / ME372CG written by MEHRDAD595 and the hints for using this method for other fonepad devices of maxz, i have successfully rooted my K00Z WW-build.
The rooting process is exactly equivalent to the K00E - especially you need a adjusted root.zip
Instructions:
1.Download THIS package and extract it in a folder
2.Download Intel USB Driver For Android Devices and install it
3.Download root file attached which is same as your build number.
4.Go to "DROIDBOOT" (turn off tablet,press power+vol up together till u enter it!)
5.copy root zip file you have downloaded at step 3 to extracted folder.
6.open "OPEN.cmd" and enter this:
Code:
for WW-Build orCode:fastboot flash update rootx.x.xWW.zip
for TW-Build (untested!)Code:fastboot flash update rootx.x.xTW.zip
(x.x.x is your build number)
7.after flashing got complete tablet will be restarted and it shows "Installing System Update"
8.grats,u got root access now!

Here is the solved
http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=53639853&postcount=668To those with their FonePad's stuck in a boot-loop and for others to keep a backup handy, here is the Factory ROM v5.3.8 for the ME175CG (Dual SIM only) with the WW SKU. I have the WW SKU and hence the WW Factory ROM.
To install, follow these instructions:
NOTE: Do this procedure when you have a good 50% - 70% of battery
- Extract the RAR file "ME175CG_all_WW_user_V5.3.8".
- Copy the extracted file "ME175CG_all_WW_user_V5.3.8.raw" to the root directory of an external SD Card and plug it in to your FonePad.
- Make sure no other update files are present in this SD Card.
- Boot into Droidboot by powering off your device and then pressing Volume + (UP) and the Power keys (release when you see the Android Logo with a construction cap)
- Using the Volume - (DOWN) key, highlight the option "SD DOWNLOAD" and press the Power key to select
This takes about 10 odd minutes to complete and it will boot up when it completes.
That's it! You have saved yourself a trip to a Service Center, possibly a few bucks and plenty of anxiety.
