Updated version 1.3

Fixed Sliders ver1.3

I took the liberty of correcting all of the the slider bars in version 1.3:
- checkbox not displaying correctly (see screenshot)
- slider button not displaying correct color (see screenshot)

Image files resized to get as close to stock as possible, filenames corrected and removed unecessary folders. Some image files missing and I did the best I could to correct for that as I'm not very good altering graphics & colors.
Slider button came out different but I left it that way anyway.

File download (this mod is complete, just revised):
TW_Jelly_Bean's_Missing_Link_v1.3_TD.zip

Note: Took me a while to figure out that for the very first choice (the backup), SOMETHING needs to be selected or Aroma doesn't make any changes. Maybe this will get corrected in an upcoming version so there is a defaulted choice so this will prevent any confusion. ;)

Seems android file host could be having issues, as I'm only getting a 529 byte file. The original looks pretty similar in size to TD's, though (see attached).

He is using Dropbox and I've never been able to download files directly to my phone from a Dropbox hosted link so that might be what the issue is.

Nice!! You are the man! Thank you very much, appreciate your help and advice. You are why this phone is still alive and running like a Champ! I will incorporate your fix to future updates. I have removed to backup/restore option for now. I can seem to get it to play nice. It makes the Backup Files correctly just doesn't want to restore? I am sure it is a simple script error, unfortunately I'm still fairly new to this. I would love to learn more if you have any ideas on how to fix it? Anyways thanks again. UPDATE COMING TONIGHT!!

If you don't pick something for that backup option, it just doesn't install anything later on. So, you have to select to use backup or not at the very first screen or nothing will install later. It's like nothing is selected by default for that option and if you don't choose, it won't install any of the mods later.

Guys, I just uploaded the revised version to a different mirror and will go replace the link right now. Sorry for all the problems with AFH. ;)

Yup, thanks, as always, TD, and to stangdriver44, whom has brought a wonderful addition to this phone.

I can see the right side of the slider box. And your file is a bit smaller than the original. Dev Host did the trick!

Screen shots include brightness slider and file sizes (remotehugger: TD's is slightly smaller, but the difference is nominal--110KB, don't knoow why list view shows a different size than properties; yeah, I know that this is a very minor point).

Bootanimations

Hey Stang,
Here is something you can go by to install bootanimations. It's only 3 files to replace. The two files in system/bin would go in all bootanimations and never change. This sets the system up for custom bootanimations. They are fairly small and should probably be included with each bootanimation you add in case someone wishes to use this with a stock rooted rom.
The file in system/media (bootanimation.zip) is the actual bootanimation file and this would be the only file that you would need to change/replace for different bootanimation mods.

Note: Adding Bootanimations will make the mod quite large which is fine (would really like to see it too) but you may want to establish a hosting account somewhere for that since Dropbox will lock out your account if you get too many downloads over a short period of time. Or I can host them for you on one of the hosting sites I already have. Send me a PM if that is the way you want to go. Cheers - TD

Getting Better with Each Rev...

This just keeps getting better, stangdriver44! No issues with the install, and the N7 animations and color changes (last 2 selections) are welcome additions. I am especially happy with the N7 mod, as it shows up everywhere.

It now goes straight to rebooting the phone when finished.

Also nice to see the splash screen on launch (don't remember the type of vehicle it was, since it went by so quickly).

Everything running nicely.

One minor request: The themed 4G logo has no data arrows when WiMax is running. Not that it matters too much, but it'd be nice to see them match 3G (I have ICS blue icon with white arrows).

Thanks again, man. Outstanding contribution.

Have a great Monday!

I have tested them and reflashed Missing Link in the same recovery session without issue.

    First off I have to thank all the hard working creative mind here on XDA! I especially have to thank Tdunham for his contribution to keeping the E4GT alive and kicking! Without his AIO mods my mod wouldn't exist! I am very new to this so go easy on me. I will be adding and updating this. Now to what this mod offers;
It is meant to work with TD's AIO mods, or without if you choose. I absolutely love the control his mod, along with the 3minit mod by Gharrington, give you to customize your Theme. The one thing to that always looked incomplete to me was the 4G icon always stayed the same? That's where The Missing Link comes in. Then I just got a little carried away, with more, much more to come

    Again thanks to,
Tdunham for continuous knowledge and endless mods
Gharrington for porting 3minit to our device
amarullz for creating the incredible Aroma Installer
Morphology Society for tons of icons and images
and the creative minds here on XDA
and of course my awesome girl "B" for putting up with me and my phone
Can't forget my mom, if not for her not only would I cease to exist, but I would not have this awesome phone to use and explore my creative mind! Thanks mom

Add this theme to dialer section in aromas menu app please.

You got it. This will be in the included in the update planned for release tonight or in the morning. There are some more fun options to give more control over framework among more things. I'm always glad to get requests and see if I can works them in. Thanks

    V4.0 ready for downloading

Sorry for the delay getting this update out. I started out fixing one thing and adding another and we no where that goes. The finish product I have brought today is basically 11 base fframework themes to work with and add or change what you want from the options available. I will update the OP later when I get home. I have tested this on stock gb27, ReCaulked and Bare Bones. I would have to say ReCaulked works the smoothest out of the 3. During testing I probably flashed Missing Link over 25 time before thing started to get weird. With project x barebones I can run the mod choosing every option only a few times before boot loop happens, a simple "flash back " zip from the OP get me running back to square in minutes to stay again. When testing with a fresh one click stock rooted rom I didn't try without an AIO mod from TD, but it ran and modded very nicely.

    ***SIDE NOTE***
The mod has grown to include over 25,000 images and xml files. The updater scripts reading over 2,500 lines (I am looking into a way to shorten this) which has in turn slowed the process down. I averaged around 2 minutes after picking my options and finish. The first boot up also took longer. After the install and first boot up things ran back to normal. Enjoy and happy modding. Thanks again to everyone here on XDA and especially this community!

    Possible preview examples?

I know there are a lot of different choices and unless you flash it and view it and flash again to see another one there is no way to see what you're going to get. I was thinking something like I posted below might help? I only worked up a small example because that's all I had time for. Let me know if something like that would help?

    Update ready for download

Updated the OP for v3.0. Added more options to theme things the way you want. Sorry for the trial and error method of getting things the way you want. Aroma doesn't have the ability to show previews and there are so many variations to choose from screen shots would take long time to get in to place. It is WIP though. Let me know what you think. Are there too many options? Is it better to just get a pre-picked theme or is this better picking what you want and don't want? Enjoy
