Downloading!

Sent from my Nexus 7 3G using Tapatalk 4 Beta

It's smooth, feels better than RB. It was this smooth after flash, and after TB restore all my apps, since afternoon till now, I had chances to use it on and off, and now I'm at home, it's still as smooth. I've not done any chances in Rom Control yet.

Btw, any issue if I flash CrossBreeder?

I always have a hard time customizing but other than that this ROM is just perfect. Seriously mean it. Only bug is Permissions Management (doesn't seem to work on the Tilapia build I am using for some reason; might be something wrong on my side) and the Signal Bar on the Tilapia build is kinda unusual for me but nothing I can't sacrifice for amazing performance. Will be more than happy to help in bug-hunting since I have set up ICJ as a secondary ROM in MultiROM.

@n3ocort3x and @LorD ClockaN
First impression running Tilapia version on Grouper: MIND=BLOWN! Absurd performance! How the hell is it so fast? Really needs nothing extra. What do you want me to test?

Oh and the ramdisk isn't really necessary on the Grouper at least.

This is @LorD ClockaN ´s baby :) He always wants the maximum out of things :D so dont wonder :D

WHY DID NO ONE TELL ANYONE THAT THIS WORKED ON GROUPER?!?

Will flash immediately, I have been a fan of ICJ since Icecold sandwich in the Incredible S days when kaijura built for it!
Nice to finally see this for the N7

@sgt. meow is this doesn't boot I will rage at you for getting me so excited!

Maybe I start with one this week.. Yeah.. Depends on what I have to do this week in real life lol. But tbh.. I think yeah. I the more I use the tablet the more I get itchy fingers

We haven't told anyone because lord and me want to watch how long it takes that people recognise it on their own... Lol :D

haha, you new to N7? Welcome :)

Looking forward to your developments mate, good luck. I have never tried a tiapia rom on my grouper but it seems to be fine other than the fact that it can't find my sim card :D I wonder why...

Well in my defence I have every N7 section in my subscription list except for 3G development, cause I never thought it would work. I am betting thats why a lot of people haven't found out about this yet :)

See you around guys :p

It works. No changes required.

I see, just booted it up lol

Edit:
hmm, any way I can make the soft keys a bit more spaced out? The seem quite close together compared to stock

Just realised that navbar transparency isn't working for me in TabUI either. It's completely transparent. Can't see a thing. And I thought I was just doing it wrong.

    How to flash:

    turn OFF your tablet
BACKUP your data using recovery (and SD on first flash just in case)
full wipe is needed IF you aren't coming from other AOSP 4.2 rom
    flash the rom
flash newest gapps (Google applications) from here -they NEED to be flashed after every ROM flash
    boot

    Kernels:

Here, I will provide the latest kernels for this ROM. DONT flash the directly from thread of the Kernel Devs. We need some special lines in RAMDISK. If u flash the Kernels directly from Devs thread, u will get into bootloop. Thats why i provide them here. Links will be up on evening today.

If u know how to exctract ramdisk out of boot.img u can do the following if u wish to do it on ur own:

*extract ramdisk out of the kernel u want
*in init.rc add in global enviroment setup (beginning of file)
    export ANDROID_CACHE /data
    *save the file
*pack the ramdisk with boot.img and flash

    faux kernel
    franco kernel
    ...
