Incorrect, the UCLF6 release does not wipe the /data partition-- only the leaked one click installs did that.
Thanks very much. I was seeing mixed information on the web, and though I've got an app/data backup ready to roll here, surprises are never appreciated. :laugh:
why would you want to install it on rogers, we have our own official ics and its 4.0.4, you can maybe try the radio to see if it works or if its better than rogers ics radio. heres the links to both radios .

I literally just updated from the UDL5 leak to the official ICS version and my soft keys go on and off like normal.
BTW, anyone wondering, if you ran the ODIN OCI on the previous leak, I can confirm you can use ODIN + the MD5 file posted here to upgrade via ODIN with everything in tact. I was dreading have to go back and reset everything on my phone again. :/

Here is what I did to flash this using ODIN. Worked for me, but do this at your risk.
- Download UCLF6 ODIN flashable, from sammobile (direct link) from OP or Sammobile or this post
- Extract the I727UCLF6_I727ATTLF6_I727UCLF6_HOME.tar.md5 contained within the zip to some directory. rename .tar.md5 to .tar
- Download ODIN 1.85. I already had it, but you may download it from this thread. Direct link
- Start ODIN. In the PDA section. Check ONLY Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes.
- Put phone in download mode (Power off, pull battery out, put it back in Plug in USB while VOl Down is pressed), connect via usb cable, click start. Let it complete
- AFter it restarts it will be stuck at AT&T logo. Take battery out and put it back in. Go to Recovery mode (Press: Vol up + Vol down + Power, Release Power when you see Samsung Logo). Do Wipe here (I was afraid to do this due to brickbug issue but did it anyways. I am ok, but do this at your risk)
- Follow instructions from this post to install custom recovery
- Root the phone using instructions from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1565126

Anyone had success rooting after updating to the official 4.0.4?
Tried installing superuser.zip from within Clockworkmod from the ODIN method here:

Installed the superuser.zip in CWM (3 attempts before it was "successful", then a few more times for good measure).. Titanium Backup still gets hung up "Asking for root" and when I "su" from terminal emulator it returns "Permission denied", doesn't even prompt to grant superuser request or show up in the log..
All I want to root it for is AdFree and to freeze all the bloatware I'll never use.. Any tips? Does it make a difference that I tried to install superuser.zip from CWM Touch vs vanilla CWM?

The only thing this means to me is that Seanz might use some parts of this for the at&t based of 4.2F. Not that I'm not already tremendously satisfied with the rom as is. :good:
