I got an update - it's strange that it says it is 15.2.A.2.5, but this is the firmware version I already have installed on my phone. Did someone else got this kind of update?

Still on 4.1. I wonder when will we get that so sought 4.3 update. And here Google is doing everything to help consumers like us.

New Android smartphones must run KitKat 4.4, says leaked Google Memo

Yep, still 4.1... and about 4.4 update we have 1gb ram and a modern processor, this should not be a problem. (but I'm an ex-x10mini and ex-Xperia U user... so... I do not expect too much from sony)

...And nobody else recipe the 2.9 minor update?? Only Vodafone Spain??

Isee it at PTCRB :

Just when i flashed cm11 new update to 4.3 is teasing me... Lol

Sent from my C1905 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Are you joking or is there a new update in real?

Which variant you have?
SS or DS?

I got a new Album update day before yesterday.
Atleast Sony updates it's Media App. Other Brands don't.

I think he means as soon as he flashed his phone with CM11 news about rumored 4.3 update came out.

You got that right...
I really love what Sony does to android... not like what those Koreans do:sly:... this news of 4.3 really excites me... But stock 4.4 for m could have been better :p

Oh ok got it.

I don't see any possible reason to release 4.3 instead of 4.4 cuz 4.4 has been out for 3+ months now and so they can easily release 4.4 for our mobile as the specs are far better then recommonded once.

If we discard reports of Vodafone Australia about scheduled testing of 4.3 update, its just a speculation. I am still not sure if it is a 4.3 or 4.2 update. Who knows Sony plans to upgrade Xperia M to 4.4 later this year or may be never (Sony forbid :p). But we definitely do not want to feel left behind when newer phones will be running on KitKat 4.4 be it an entry level or a flagship as per the new Google policy to curb the fragmentation.

Forget about 4.4, it's only cheap smartphone. If you want updates buy something more expensive. Nowadays system updates are like smartphone feature that you must pay for. I think that 4.3 or 4.2 will be our last update.

Remember that 4.3 is heavier than 4.4.x so if M/M Dual are capable of running 4.3 then they will very easily run 4.4.x and so Sony will have to release a newer Android version and also Android rule binds An Oem to support each Android Device atleast for 18 months...
Its not even 12 yet so who knows.

I hope so, but considering the Xperia M2 was just announced I wouldn't hope for much
