I use auto or 30% a majority of the time and it works great. Seems like the auto on TW ROMS is is faster and responds better then on AOSP ROMS.

Auto. Unless the sun is too bright. Then its 100%

I use lux and use -40 inside my house when it's dark. 0 anytime else. [I work night shift so I'm not in daylight too much]

At this point, my phone is just one big tweak.

If you take a screen shot with lux on, does the picture show the darkness?

Well if you go sub zero on lux it just puts a grey tint that increases the farther you go down sub zero until it almost blacks out the screen. But from my experience with lux the brightness will stay the same when you take a screen shot.

I use also use auto and 100% in sunlight. If your asking because of battery life I'm getting about 22 hours average with Google now disabled. Once all the GPS Google now uses it drops to 13-15

Mostly I use 25% or auto in the sun. I replace my screen protector quite often to keep the fresh look. Battery loves me, I can read my forums, haven't had a problem yet. Most of the time I ran the lowest before I bought an extended battery though.

I use minimum brightness at night
Maximum brightness when plugged in indoors
Auto when on the move

I use 20% unless outside, then usually go up.
Does auto brightness drain the battery much faster?

I just adjust on the fly, usually zero at work and bump it up as needed.

I usually use auto but I bump it up when I'm outside.
When I'm running low, I set it all the way down.
