Is there a way to remove some system apps, like facebook, peep, friendstream etc.
Can I just remove them from the rom zip?

Alex is there any possibility by which haptic feedback can be disabled in phone. It's the only problem I am facing in all gingerbread roms.

Anyone got a link to this ROM (a2sd) and the 2.3 Froyo ROM? Major Bluetooth connectivity issues with car kit using 1.8 GB HD so need to either give GB one last go via this ROM or back to Froyo on 2.3 ROM.

Thanks in advance

that i dont have uplouded...but you can munally change this...open the rom with winrar...go to system/etc/init.d and delete the data2ext script...and copy in a a2sd script...

if all fail...i will look if i find it on my hdd

with kind regards

Which is better (more space/more stable)? A2SD or Data2ext?

Does someone knows how can I ENGLARGE the sd-ext "volume" ?
currently it's about 100% and I get "No space left" when I try to copy files to "/data"....
I have v1.8 ad2ext of alex's roms...

This is my "df-h" output:
Code:
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 201.9M 64.0K 201.9M 0% /dev
tmpfs 201.9M 0 201.9M 0% /mnt/asec

/dev/block/mtdblock4 40.0M 1.2M 38.8M 3% /cache

                          5.9G 3.1G 2.8G 53% /mnt/secure/asec

I know from "Gparted" ( on linux ) that my ext partition it about 50% full... so there is A LOT of space to be used on that partition...

Please advise...;)

Hi,
I assume you use 4ext recovery

- make a nandbackup
- copy your fat32 partition to the pc
- format all partitions including fat32
- create the new partions with the size you want <1.5 Go for ext4
- swap if you need
- rest for the fat32
- copy your sd from pc backup by - the toggle usb menu from the 4ext recovery
- Restore your nandbackup
- reboot :D

I think that should fix your problem

Instead of using gparted you could use minitool partition manager for windows

ppl.... please take note that I use AD2SDX script ( it's the alex's rom v1.8 ).
If i understood it right - /DATA files sits on my NAND memory and not on the SD's EXT partition.... ( )
So the question here is what can I do to continue install programs - how can I bypass this problem ?

Sorry I didn't see that feature.
If your nand is full, you have to move for the a2sd version of the ROM.
Look the second op there's the download link.

Or remove some apps who use the most data (if possible for you)

If you use ad2sdx, you should use cm7r2 hboot..
From your log, you can see that your /sdext is almost full..
In ad2sdx /sdext become /data and /data become /sdext..
And system dalvik cache is stored on nand in this case is on /sdext ad2sdx..that's why your /sdext or your real /data is full of dalvik cache..
The solution is to use cm7r2 hboot that have bigger /data
