On v11.0.1, the first time you get to left side bar, bookmark will be at second level.
If you click on bookmark, the next time you enter left side bar, bookmark will be directly accessible as you left it.
The floating 'circle' for menus..that I hated as well as I often accidentally touch it..but I could still live with that. Now they removed the left-swipe bookmarks. OK ..Chrome it is for now unfortunately!
The quick left swipe for bookmarks was the selling point for me. This feature is very helpful for more recent mobiles with big screen.. now they made it into 2 steps which kinda kill the point.
most elements appear to be back in place now with latest version, left and right swipe back, i dont really like the new UI either but it works well enough so we're going to be stick with it.
yeah, this version is a step backward is my opinion but its still the best browser out there, surprised the left swipe to bookmarks hasn't been copied yet, this is the only reason I use Dolphin, that and quick swipe to desktop toggle.
I've used this for years as it was the only browser design which understood the notion that the only thing in a browser you need quick access to is your bookmarks and the easier and faster you can get there the better. Dolphin was the only browser where you could do a quick lazy swipe to view all your bookmarks, and swipe back quickly if you'd changed your mind. They've also remove right swipe to get easy access to pluggins.
No, I hear you say, this must be a joke, surely they wouldn't the only option which set themselves apart from all other browsers, possibly the best feature of any browser out there?
I got V10.3 from http://www.androiddrawer.com/, not sure if that was the last version before 11, but it is good enough for now. Word to the wise, export your bookmarks BEFORE you uninstall V11. If anyone has a version history of Dolphin for Android, or a higher numbered version 10 Dolphin browser for Android, speak up. Reminds me of how Opera ruined their Mini browser years ago when they went from V4 to V5 and adopted a "unity" (barf) type gui..... tears of sadness...
