If I flash the transparent status bar and don't like it is there a easy way to revert back or should I wait until you can select color from the rom tools.

Just make a copy of SystemUI.apk before flashing the mod and if you don't like it delete the new apk and replace with the one you copied. This can easily be done with a root file explorer.

Edit: don't forget to fix permissions (rw-r-r) if you decide to revert to the old SystemUI.

Everything great here. Cool as the other side of the pillow. Will the home button to wake the phone be available?

Amazing rom. I really like. Smooth, fast and so far very reliable... I started using this rom today.

The ONLY feature I would like to see here is the ability to hide the eye icon for smart stay and such features on the status bar, other than that I think it's perfect

I have to say, the flashing has gotten alot fancier with the newer phones with all the options before flashing, pretty cool imo :good: Flashing right now, lets hope i love this rom and dont decide to be a crackflasher with this phone :p

In case anyone is curious, the kernel and volume boost mod from dark slide thread work great.

Very weak amount of "thanks" in the OP compared to download # :D

On a side note I finally figured out how to get the AOSP lock screen vibration toggle to operate and NOT have to have the soft key haptic feedback as well.
Will be updating FAQ with how-to

Sorry about that. I've done my part. And thanks.

Finally got to flash v1.1 last evening and just after I got through the initial setup I got a call. Lasted 1-2 minutes and no problems whatsoever. Just FYI.

This ROM is based off daekslide. Anything that works/doesn't work on that ROM will 99% work on this ROM.

Thank you very much! The more confirmation about calls working the better I feel, thank you.

I think you may have mentioned it but didn't see it on the to do list but it might be a part of the themes... Will there be transparent notification pull down added to next build?!

Last one I promise! I looked for and didn't see if there was a check box to disable screen on when receiving a message... Is it in the ROM and did I just miss it?

also, this ROM has call recording baked in. So if using a volume boost mod and it's not confirmed by me in this thread, please don't come and complain asking why is the call freezing when trying to do call record.
THIS is why.
flashing things NOT made for my ROM.

I just hope everyone understands I'm not trying to be an ass when I preach these things it's just not really everyone understand how much and what does go on behind the scenes for making these ROMs.

Takes a lot of time and patience. Both of which I do not have.

to my main point,
once you flash ANYTHING, and I mean anything for a reason,
outside of this thread, meaning if you flash anything that isn't an official add-on that isn't made by me that consists of anything, exactly like this volume MOD, kernel, themes, MODs, etc.. anything you flash outside of this thread you void any type of issue warranty in this thread, please do NOT even post about the issues after you do outside flashing.
Do a nandroid and be on this ROM stock (meaning no outside flashing) and you did a Clean Wipe, as per asked in the OP.

As I said earlier, not doing this to be an ass.
It's because it's literally impossible for me to support ANYTHING, NOT made by me.
This could mean something even as small as flashing the volume MOD, and or kernel from darkslide.
This could mean flashing a systemui theme, just anything guys I'm sure you get the point. :)

It's just I had some issues in the past of people flashing outside stuff, then coming into the thread to ask why or to complain, then the guys who don't post but read the threads come across that question and now I need to
1) explain why it has nothing to do with the ROM
2) I can't do anything about it.

Sorry for the rant, I just hope that everyone understands why this is a big problem for myself and DEVs alike, having others post issues about things I didn't even make.

Fresh ROM, Fresh Wipe, confirm issue, post issue.

(and I'm just preaching, this isn't meant for who ever I quoted up top, it's to everyone.)
:)

That wasn't a rant Andy...that's just telling it like it is. People seem to forget the most common disclaimer that you usually find in any OP for any Rom, mod, or tweak...." I am not responsible for anything YOU do to your phone" This is great Rom out of the box as is. Especially for your first one. Which is why I sent you some beer money to show my appreciation. Keep up the great work buddy

Guys very sorry, I have de-activated the HTC One, back on the SG4 and it feels great. I will be working on re-basing this to 4.3

Both MDK users and boot strap users *should* be able to use the ROM.
It MAY become an Aroma option but since I am not very up-to-date with everything I need to get back into the Samsung code, HTC is WAYYYYY different, much harder TBH.

Please don't ask of an ETA, there is no current idea of when it will be ready at all. I had worked and got my base done a while back when I had some time, but I now that I got my HTC One ROM updated to 4.3, I am ready to give you guys my full attention, then eventually on to the SG3.

Hope that you guys will be back on the BoneStockROM4.3_v2.0 ROM once ready! :)
Hopefully I can port the MODs without tooo much issues, since the HTC base was Android 4.3 as well. but TBH, it's mainly what's changed in the TW applications/=.
    22
You guys honestly are the best users a DEV could ask for.
I literally look forward to waking up and checking this thread.
You have become my friends, not just users.
For getting my stars back to 5 I got a nice boost and am going to put in a couple more hours on AOSP them tonight!!

Thank you everyone, so so much!
I love doing this, and it's because of every single one of you!

    COMING SOON

    FAQ:

Q: The AOSP lock screen vibration toggle isn't working? How can I have the AOSP lock screen vibration and NO soft key hepatic feedback?
A: To have the AOSP lock screen vibration toggle function properly a couple of things need to be set correctly in settings. 1) make sure if you have the "power Saving" toggle on that you UN-check the "Turn off haptic feedback" toggle. Then go into settings sound and make sure that the "Haptic feedback" toggle is checked, then scroll up and click "vibration intensity" and the "notification" value is the one that controls it.
As for having the AOSP lock screen vibration and NO haptic feedback. This one, you need to make sure that the "Haptic feedback" is checked like above and the "vibration intensity" and the "notification" value is set correctly again like mentioned above. You need to turn on Power Savings for this to work. Just UN-check everything you don't want, just make sure that the "Turn off haptic feedback" is Checed. This will cancel out the setting in Sound to activate the soft key haptic feedback and still allow the AOSP lock screen vibration working as well.

Q: Does this ROM update my baseband? If not, how do I update to the newest?
A: No. This ROM does NOT touch the baseband. If you want to upgrade I provided links above for flashable.zips for MDK and ME7 so you can decide which suits you better.

Q: I have an issue, when should I post about it?
A: Please ONLY post issues if
    1. you have done a complete FULL wipe.
    2. you are not running anything outside the stock ROM, meaning kernels, themes, MODs, etc.
    3. after you have completed steps 1 & 2 please kindly post your issue(s) and I will do my best to alleviate them.

    Q: How can I donate?
A: My paypal donation link is set up to the left under my name click the "Donate to me" button, or my PayPal address is acd2788@gmail.com

Q: What do I choose? MOD only or Full Install?
A: The ONLY time you want to choose "MOD only" is when you want to go back and add something, so say you are on v1.1.3 or any other version, and want to add the S Translate, you choose "MOD only"
that would be the only time
when you are installing a new ROM, such as v1.1.3 over v1.1.2 or even doing a full wipe install, always choose full wipe (Aroma does not wipe for you, though) so even after choosing the full wipe OPTION, you would still need to wipe the phone in recovery prior, or after the install.
