What type of battery are you guys using? I'm with the original that came with the phone. But, even with greenify, settings and other tweaks, i get 10%/1h of battery drain. (On idle). Using the phone just to chat in here, for example, 10% / 15-20 min. (With sync off and brightness at lowest level).
I freezed or greenified all the apps that were causing wakelocks... Is it normal? Should i buy another battery? (I saw 3500mah, 2450mah that seem OK).

Any one knows how to hide root or make the access to root settings difficult, as I am going to give this mobile to my younger sister and dont want she mess with root abilities..

I had problems with the contacts..every time i open the internet i can't find my contacts...sometimes the other person can't hear me in the call and I have to restart
I also suffer from heat and battery drain especially on wifi

you can setup a second limited user.

note: right now you can then only switch users if your lockscreen is in landscape.

wifi is work on progress, for the calling issue we would need logs which record that problem :)

I saw an excelent gain in battery on last WEEKLY rom. Turning only 2G. But when i turn sync and 3G... Although, really awesome work! Unfortunately there are some people that just want to bother... We understand you, man. Thank you for the brilliant work one more time.

dont thank me, Stefan Demharter discovered the faulty patch which caused that drain :)
he is also working on the ALS and backkeys, awesome work so far.

sync is always a bit tricky on legacy, ill always look around and try to improve battery, but i am limited, i cant do everything.

Please advise which kernel should I use for OC? I've tried that from addons, but my device didn't boot after flashing.
ROM works brilliant, but sometimes phone is getting slower and becomes unusable for a while. I'd like to try with 1200.
I have noticed that MMS doesn't work for me. I can't send and recieve messages.

Anyway it's very good job. Thanks a lot.

this is because the overclock kernel is already old again and i need to recreate it with the latest additions.

and also, some devices cant handle the overclock and wont boot up at all :)

about the MMS im sorry, i never used them and do not have a simcard for the phone anymore (the galaxy s4 and oneplus require smaller simcards and they dont fit into the p970)

I can't wait for OC:) Btw please tell me how to make my g button to lock/unlock screen....it's not the same as on ics

Hello, my first issue:
Using 20140729 (since bluetooth good enouth for playng music and answering calls in my car)
In my company we use our cellphones as internal phones, so I receive a lot of calls during each day. Today, after answer any call, the sound stops after 5 seconds and i coudn't listen the other person. Then I realised that turning on the speaker and turning off again the sound works again. This happends in all the calls.

    working on it! GPS and new WIFI Drivers are the only big things left :)

    EDIT: Found it. You have to enable and then disable again lockscreen rotation for changes to really apply.

    Hi, the latest cwm for p970 what I'ev seen is 6.0.4.5 and worked well for me so far. You can download installer from this section http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1624565

    I did some GPS testing and there you can see my result:

    I use app GPS Status for downloading A-GPS data from internet. I think GPS in P970 working bad without A-GPS data, downloading them improves lock position speed for few days. The first lock after phone restart (rom update) takes little bit longer about 1-3min, where GPS searching for sattelites and caching information about them. With restart are these informations wiped out and phone need them acquire again. The lock speed could be individual, depending on many things, position, signal strenght (you should be outside with direct view to the sky, behind most new plastic windows is bad signal due present metalic layer on glass), and there could be bad contact with antena onside phone too. If I'm wrong correct me please.

    I wasn't able to reproduce this issue for get a log of it. Try use app named CatLog -> open it -> in menu press record -> set file name -> make procedure in witch there is problem -> if phone freeze, reboot and see if LogCat was able to save file on your SD card -> if you get that file you have log and you can post it
